Taesong was very nice, but after doing > 10 food tours in cities around the world, this was by far the most expensive (by a factor of 2-3x) while also giving us the least amount of variety. I did another non-food tour while in Seoul, and got exposure to a similar variety of food. We didn’t get to eat Mandu, as it mentioned, and it felt like the focus was far too heavy on sweets. Would love to have tried noodles, maybe some BBQ, chicken, and all the pickled foods.

Our tour guide, Ji Yoon was amazing! She took great care to make sure we all had a great time. In addition to the phenomenal food, she shared some history and a bit of what local life is like. She helped us arrange a taxi at the end and even stayed with us to make sure we got in safely. She followed up with a kind note, shared edited photos of our time together and even provided several recommendations for a nice dinner for us to celebrate our anniversary. We cannot recommend her enough as a guide!

Alex was great on providing information both about the food and the locations we went to but also about advice for other places to visit.

Alex was a great guide with the perfect blend of Korean heritage and lifestyle with experience living in the US. This is a great tour for someone who wants to try a bunch of different things without risk of wasting it all if something is not to your taste. Not too much walking but enough to walk off the food we ate. Definitely should try this tour!
