What To Expect

Our goal is to teach people the right way of tasting wines and most importantly how to match wines to food . We propose different levels of tastings and also different types of wines and liquors accompanied with delightful appetizers to give your taste buds a treat. People in general are often surprised about the fact that wine can sublimate food and food can sublimate wine if you understand the basics of wine pairing and it's amazing ! We have a great opportunity to be hosted by the restaurant Saint-James which is one of the best restaurants in Bora Bora with the best wine cellar as well . There is an option to stay at the restaurant to have dinner there . We are always happy to give our best advice about the selection of the wine for the dinner .

We had such a wonderful wine tasting experience at St. James in Bora Bora. Our guide was not only kind but also very knowledgeable, making the entire experience engaging and easy to follow. The four pairings were perfectly chosen, and the views from the restaurant were absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend this excursion if you’re visiting Bora Bora!

Our wine tasting was cancelled because the minimum number of required participants was not met. I am writing a review because Bora Bora is a vacation of a lifetime for some of us and when tour operators cancel there is often no opportunity to reschedule due to other activities or limited time on the island. This was a gift to celebrate my husband's birthday on his actual birthday and we were left with no celebration. Very disappointing.
Wine tasting with Allan is one not to miss.

This was a wonderful experience. Allan is very knowledgeable about wines and French wine in particular. We had originally booked this for a Sunday when Allan contacted us that the restaurant was closed that day. He worked around our schedule and re-booked the tasting at our resort for another day. On top of that, he accommodated my wife's wishes to taste some champagne. We really enjoyed the experience and visiting with other wine enthusiasts. Allan made the whole experience fun and educational. I highly recommend this tour.

What better place to have a wine tasting experience than in Bora Bora French Polynesia with a top notch Sommelier like Allan. Fabulous teacher, packed with knowledge and with a great sense of humor to boot! My eyes or should I say, my nose, was opened. I'll be forever smelling, tasting with air, the LEGS (who know?), the swirl then the smell followed by the taste. WOW!!! The food paring was amazing too, OMG over the top. One of the best highlights of my trip. thank you Allan.

Allan was great. He communicated extremely well before the tasting and made arrangements for us to make it easy. We had a group of four and everyone had a super time. He makes wine tasting fun and educational. Also he chooses excellent wines.

This was an amazing experience, Allan was very knowledgeable and very passionate about and how each ingredient feels, also with the side dishes, it was an amazing lesson of wine tastibg, sides and how to recognize wine styles
I would repeat this wine tasting, and repeat, and repeat!

Allan was a great Sommelier and he went above and beyond to answer all of our questions! He even stayed longer than he needed to. We went through different types of wine and we learned so much. We have been drinking wine for a while now and we still learned a lot. We had great conversations too, and as bonus we got to take the rest of the wine home! So worth it :D
