Voted top Escape game in Edinburgh by escape roomer. The puzzles are similar to those you would find in an escape room. Instead of escaping a room you will be working through the story of Arthur Conan Doyle's time in Edinburgh, learning some interesting tidbits along the way.
We are different to most other treasure hunts because we provide a physical bag and the entire game is played using a combination of objects along with permanent features of the city.
You will only need your phone to contact the game master if you're stuck or need help.
This is a small business and a work of passion created by some local tour guides that love games.
Service animals allowed

A game, a walk and a different way to learn some history. Together with your team you will have to make good use of the kit provided to work through all the puzzles. Each will let you know where to go next, you will collect some interesting tidbits on some of the characters you’ll meet along the way before the grand finale. Logic, deduction and walking are big parts of this game. The game will finish in the West End of Town. The duration varies greatly from group to group, most groups can finish in under 3h but for some groups its a lot more. You will be in touch with the host via WhatsApp so you need to bring a phone with internet access. Help will be offered throughout by the host but its up to you to ask. By joining you are committing to returning the kit and the end location. We take groups of up to 7, we think its best with 2-5 players. Children 12 or under don't need to pay a ticket. The game is complex and we think its not a good fit for those ages but parents know best. If you're looking for something different check out our other games: The Pirate's Riddle and Fantastic Creatures of Edinburgh, also on TripAdvisor.

This puzzle game was quite challenging! We enjoyed the format of the game and the sights along the way. Our Consultant Sabi was quite helpful!

It was kind of fun but very frustrating as we had a hard time figuring things out and had to constantly contact our point person. We were told it would take 2-3 hours. We thought we had plenty of time before our next activity. 5 hours later we had to give up where we were and missed our next activity. Definitely made me feel stupid and incompetent and I have a bachelors degree.

Unfortunately it was too cold and wet to finish for us but was very enjoyable. Will do this again with more people next time.
