From April 1st, you'll have the opportunity to freely explore the gardens at your own pace and enjoy the musical show inside the gardens of Versailles. Please be aware that guided visits inside the gardens will no longer be included
Entry to the gardens is free of charge from November to March, and no ticket is required during this period. However, from April to October, a ticket is necessary to visit the gardens. Your City Wonders representative will provide you with your ticket on the day of the tour.
If you select the Full Day Option with Giverny & Versailles, you will start by a tour of Claude Monet's House in Giverny, followed by free time in the village. You will then head to Versailles by coach for an afteroon guided tour. You will be back in Paris at 7pm

5.00Pierre was fantastic! He was a great guide..that came so prepared with trivia questions while we were waiting in line, and an IPad to show us more history of Versailles. He was friendly and accommodating.

3.00The tour is a waste of time if you’re not going to the gardens. Once the house tour is over you have to hang around and wait for the bus to leave about 2-3 hours later. That should have been specified in the details. I had to find my own transportation back which ended up costing me a lot. Plus the return spot that was listed was incorrect. They come back to the place where we left from.

4.00Our group was fortunate in having a really excellent tour guide for Versailles Palace. Frederick was very knowledgeable and spoke clearly with an excellent command of the English language. What could use improvement is the garden visit. I tried to unsucessfully download the garden visit on my phone using the same Pop App I had downloaded for Giverney. None of the tour organizers broached the subject of any app for the garden visit. After noticing Versailes has an audio guide, I asked the coordinator on the bus and she said to contact you. So I paid extra for the garden visit , had time to spend either walking in the garden or further exploring the palace, but I missed out on the audio app guide.
