Jogyesa Temple
Jogyesa Buddhist Temple is the center of Zen Buddhism in Korea, and is famous for being located in the city. From the busy streets of Jongno, follow the road towards Anguk Subway Station, and you will see Jogyesa Temple. The first things you will notice at the temple are the lovely trees. These locust trees and baeksong trees in front of the Daeungjeon, the main temple building, are about 500 years old.
Gwanghwamun Gate
Keep your camera handy for the changing of the guard ceremony at Gwanghwamun Gate.

Nice tour. Bused to palaces and other areas of interest… then walked through the beautiful surroundings… Junie our guide was wonderful…, sometimes hard to hear the speaker. But she was always willing to pleasantly repeat. A great day!!!

We saw a lot very efficiently, which was great. The guide was great. My only criticism, which is just the structure of the tour, is I prefer a tour that both picks you up and drops you off at your hotel - on this tour you are in your own to get back although Mr. Young did give us good directions and we found the hotel with little difficulty.

Overall the tour was informative and fun. The only issue we had was that we booked a tour with lunch and unfortunately lunch was not included. If your offerings are going to change, I would expect a large company to inform its patrons at bare minimum and ideally offer a partial refund. Felt like a bait and switch.

Our Guide, Mr Young was very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommended, sadly the big palace was close that day but we got to experience the secret garden instead, lucky us!
