Snorkeling with the whale shark is a wonderful experience that we have very close to in the City of La Paz. Our boat is very comfortable and perfectly equipped for this activity.

Our guides were amazing! Gustavo, Angel and Raulio were all so courteous and informative. We got up close and personal with the whale sharks and were given about 3 opportunities to get in the water to swim with them. You feel super safe. The guides then gave some light snacks and drinks to keep us occupied on the boat ride back. 10/10 recommend

These guides were fantastic. David is a marine biologist who was very knowledgeable and respectful of the whalesharks. He was able to answer every question we had and more. Güero and Jenny also helped with anything we needed. We found one of the biggest whale sharks in the bay at the time and were able to swim with it throughout the afternoon. They made sure everyone got the same opportunities to swim and even helped with getting footage of the shark. Highly recommend this outfit.

5 of us did a whale shark swim with Edgar in La Paz. Great tour. Knowledgeable, helpful, organized, everything you could want. Great day as not windy and lots of whale sharks. ALso picked us up and delivered us back tour hotel. would do it again.

Awesome little trip. Got to swim with 3 different whale sharks. Rented the wet suits since that seemed like it would be easier to swim. The guide was awesome, he was a stud swimmer too and would occasionally help pull along the stragglers.

Good experience, as advertised. Water was a bit murky. Guide was understandable and knowledgeable. Rent their shorty wetsuit to avoid having to wear a life jacket. You should be able to swim fairly well with fins if you want to keep up with the shark.

They were great in communicating in advance about weather issues cancelling the boats for my booking. Got me on board the next day when they received the green light. The guide was fluent in English and Spanish for the mixed set of guests. Very clear, informative, and humorous. After the first whale swam too fast for us to keep up with, we found another that slowly circled and fed. It was right there amongst us, often close enough to touch despite us trying to give it room. I got to jump in a few times as we rotated the two groups and a couple of folks declined going in further. It was also cool to watch it from the boat as it was very near and right at the surface.

We had a blast! Things to know: 1. Wet suits are not included but can be rented for $9 each. 2. Make sure to use their dive fins. I tried using my own snorkeling fins because they were almost out of fins my size and they were not sufficient to keep up with everyone else. 3. If you are not a strong swimmer, this probably isn't for you. You must swim fast to keep up with the whale sharks, but even a glimpse is worth it, they are absolutely stunning.
