A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities.
A moderate amount of walking is involved (1,5 - 2 hours of walking)
Please let us know if there are any dietary restrictions, so we can prepare accordingly.
It is the customer’s responsibility to know basic English in order to understand the instructions. If the customer does not understand any of the instructions, Wild Nordic shall reserve the right to refuse the customer ́s participation based on safety concerns and necessity to communicate in English during any emergency situation.
All the pick-up times are subject to a 15-minute difference depending on the other participants joining the tours. Customers shall wait for their pick-up in the hotel reception area (or such other area as notified by Wild Nordic)
No refund of the tours will be made if the customer misses the pick up services as a result of failing to wait at the designated pick-up area. Wild Nordic has the right to charge reasonable expenses arising from such neglect to follow the timetable of the program.
Customers are highly encouraged to purchase personal travel insurance (which covers insurance for the activities to be participated
Wild Nordic shall not be responsible for any valuables of the customers left in the public area while participating in the activities.
Reservations: Tour reservation is considered confirmed when you receive a written confirmation including confirmation number from Wild Nordic. All bookings, changes and cancellations must be made by e-mail to Wild Nordic during business days on Monday - Friday at 09.00-16.00 Finnish time, minimum one day

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

What To Expect
Discover the true Lapland nature by hiking through untouched snow blankets and under the trees covered in white - Snowshoeing, a traditional Lappish way of getting around, allows you to explore places inaccessible by foot during snowy time. After a 20-minute transfer out from the city, you’ll arrive in a wilderness area where it’s time to put on your snowshoes and follow our guide to the surrounding nature: Embrace the tranquility and peace of the arctic woods and breathe in the purest air in the world. During the way you’ll take a break to catch your breath and enjoy hot drinks with snacks by the campfire. (Please note: Basic physical fitness is required for this tour and thus it’s not recommended for the smallest children or persons with remarkable physical limitations)

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic morning snowshoeing in the forest with our incredible guide, Fede. We'd never been snowshoeing before, but he took his time to give great instruction and advice, and then offered consistent support throughout the excursion (and was just really good company, and a good laugh!). It was a brilliant little adventure, and we really got to experience the true beauty of the Finnish winter landscape in a fun way! It definitely took some effort, but if you're relatively fit and enjoy being outdoors, this is the trip for you. After a 3km trek, we finished with a campfire, juice, lunch, and marshmallows. I highly recommend this company, and its guides. My partner and I had the best time!

5.00Thanks to Yngve, we were able to enjoy a very pleasant walk with snowshoes in the woods of Rovaniemi. Our Yngve guide entertained us explaining the various types of trees present and their peculiarities. Towards the end of the walk, he offered us a great hot chocolate and cookies around the fire. It 'was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend to everyone.

5.00We loved our evening with Jordi who took me and my husband on a snowshow hike. It was a beautiful evening but sadly no Northern lights to be found, however we still had a fantastic evening. Jordi took us too an amazing spot up a hill where we could look over the town, we made a fire and sat eating Cinnamon buns and roasting marshmallows. The snow shoe hike was really enjoyable and it was great walking through really deep snow. Jordi went above and beyond and when we couldn't find any lights up the hill he took us to the frozen lake to try our luck. Sadly the weather gods did not play ball but we really appreciated the extra effort. Thanks for the fantastic evening Jordi!

5.00It was a delightful way to spend our first evening in Lapland.... and the company were professional, helpful and very accommodating. Our flight was delayed and so we were rather late for our trip. But they cheerily and helpfully re-arranged the outing around us so that we could both experience the snowy wonderland, make camp fire and get back for dinner at our hotel. It was a magical tramp through the snowy landscape and a fun campfire, with hot chocolate and cinnamon buns! Can't recommend the guys there highly enough.

3.00Guide was great and experience was fun but not worth the money paid. We essentially put some metal shoes on and went on a 30 minute walk which would have been more reasonable should it have been 20 - 30 cheaper.
