The most intimate summer dog sledding experience in Alaska! Our carts are specifically for dog mushing and seat just two people each for an authentic adventure.
Your ride takes place on our own secluded, private training trails, surrounded by Alaska spruce and birch trees. These are the same trails we use to train for Iditarod in the winter! Our carts are 100% dog-powered, just like a sled, so you can take in the natural sounds around you, without any noisy motors or nearby traffic!
After every run, we turn all the dogs loose to run around freely and interact with guests. Enjoy meeting and playing with our champion dogs in an open house-style tour, where questions are encouraged!
Your visit also includes a tour of the kennel and a nature walk to our hand-built, wooden pavilion with a Denali view, for an interactive demonstration of our winter gear and race sled!
We provide complimentary cookies and water for you to cool off from our summer fun. We can't wait to see you soon!

The most intimate summer dog sledding experience in Alaska! We're a family operation and that includes our team of dogs that enjoy meeting guests just as much as we do! From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted by a yard full of excited, happy dogs. You'll get to know your guide and meet the dog team. Our dogs are very friendly and love to give kisses! Watch their energy level skyrocket as we get the team ready to go, then hit our private trails for an approximately 1-2 mile ride, depending on weather conditions. We use carts specially designed to simulate a sled on dry land. They are 100% dog-powered so you can take in all of the natural sounds around you! Each cart seats just two people for a truly authentic and intimate experience. After your ride, we'll head on a nature walk to our hand-carved, wooden pavilion with a Denali view for a hands-on presentation of the gear we use to train in the wintertime. We'll bring a few dogs with us too! Check out our Iditarod race sled, try stepping onto the runners and into the shoes of an Alaskan musher. We love sharing tales from the trails and will happily answer all of your questions!

We had a large group of varying ages and knowledge. Everyone had a wonderful time and now have a couple of favorite mushers to cheer for. The visitors center is beautiful and informative, really capturing the Iditarod well. Being able to meet, learn about and help the dogs will be a treasured memory for all our lives.

The Alaskan Husky Adventure group treated us just like family. From our greeting by Matthew, his son (hope he is still loving his bike), father to our tour with Dane and Jaren, the trip to see the sled dogs was like none other. We were visiting Anchorage with our best friends before boarding a cruise. This was my choice for side trips since it was my birthday. They were very patient with our questions about the race, dogs and the entire process. Dane and Jaren took their time with us and made the experience so much fun! This was a great experience and I highly recommend going. These Bama fans also liked the spirited discussion with the Ohio State fans!

Thank you, Alaskan Husky Adventures, for making our field trip one to remember! The students learned about the Iditarod trail, mandatory equipment, and how to take care of the dogs. The students were able to pet the adult dogs and play with the puppies. They were also able to watch how to harness the dogs and watch them pull a sled. We will never forget this adventure

A really great in depth look at what it takes to be a musher. How to raise and care for sled dogs. Also understanding conditions and challenges of doing what they do.

The dog sledding was a blast. My wish it were longer. Seeing all your sled dogs was enjoyable. I'm glad you take such good care of them.

This was an amazing experience. We felt like we had an authentic experience with the design of the summer sleds. Our guides were great and educated us on the Iditarod. The dogs and puppies were fun. Will do this again, maybe next time it will be when there is snow on the ground. Thank you.

Casey was an incredible guide. We loved hearing about her experiences on the Iditarod and, of course, the dogs were the stars of the show.

We had a great time with our summer Dog Sledding adventure. The dogs are so friendly and well socialized. The mushers are experienced and willing to share their stories and knowledge. Don't miss the puppies either! It was a blast!

We loved the once in a lifetime opportunity to spend time with the dogs and trainers (mushers) who run the Iditarod. We were able to interact with the dogs and the trainers were eager to share their experiences. Highly recommend.
