What To Expect
Lazy Lizard Sailing
Our sunset tour start at 2:00pm until 6:00pm. We offer free transportation from the hotels in the area (Tamarindo, Langosta, Flamingo, Conchal, Brasilito, Playa Grande). At 2:00pm we star sailing to the snorkeling spot. It takes like 1 hour to get there. There you can join our guide snorkeling tour, or do it by yourself. We also offer kayaks if you don't want to do the snorkeling, or you can always swim to the beautiful white sand beach. We stay here for around 1.5 hours and then come back with an amazing sunset. All drinks and snacks are include in the rate. On our trip you have the possibility to watch dolphins, whales, turtles, and during the snorkeling activity our guide will do his best to show you the sea life of Costa Rica.

4.00Overall a nice experience, but I would point out a few things: first, to board the catamaran, you first have to transfer from a small boat that you board on the beach. Not easy if you have any mobility issues. Second, the tour should never say anything about snorkeling, but rather swimming. There’s absolutely nothing to see while snorkeling. That I found to be deceiving. Third, the music was loud and annoying the entire time. On the good side, the crew was very nice and helpful, the food better than I expected, and like I said, overall a nice afternoon.

5.00My siblings and I went out for the sunset cruise, and had a great time. The ride came with drinks, snacks, and some great tacos! We were able to snorkel- the visibility wasn’t crazy high but I got to hold a starfish, see coral, and several types of fish and dolphins! I would absolutely do this again!

5.00Captain and crew are exceptional. The snorkeling was serene and crew made sure we saw all there was to see and more. Food and drinks were a plus, especially after snorkeling. An amazing crew, would highly suggest an outing with Lazy Lizard, captain and crew.
