Swim with a Whle Shark in the shallow waters of the Bay of La Paz. Unbelievable experience with these gentle giants in their natural habitat. With over 5 years with them it NEVER GETS OLD!
Certified Bi-Lingual Guides many of which are Marine Biologists and who absolutely love what they do.
We are pros at navigating this system but on occasion we are rescheduled into a later cycle in the day. Trust us, it is very worth the wait!

The nutrient rich waters of La Paz secure a high density of food, allowing the whale shark to eat plankton and other tiny lifeforms in huge quantities which explains its behavior, It swims in circles at slow speed and maintaining a vertical static position at times, while filtering the waters, this behavior is perfect for observation. Swim with the largest fish in the sea as they feed on plankton in the safety of The Bay of La Paz. Spending time with these gentle giants is truly a life time experience.

Cruise ship passengers beware!

1.00I was traveling on a cruise ship and saw the times available for this excursion and it fit perfectly within the time I had in port. The tour operator contacted me 2 days before the excursion date letting me know that it might not happen at the time I chose, and he would let me know the day of the excursion. The morning of the excursion, he contacted me saying the time was a couple hours later, which didn’t fit in with my cruise ship schedule. So I couldn’t go, and because I didn’t give 24 hours notice, viator won’t refund my money. That was a lot of money I just paid for nothing. I booked with Viator because I’ve used them many times in the past and they’ve always been great. Don’t list excursion times if they’re not valid or accurate. An expensive lesson I just learned and now I will definitely look at other companies instead of this one.

5.00We did a 12 day whale shark snorkle outing (10 guests). January was uncommonly cloudy and cool, not the best for whale sharking. BUT: our excellent guide and boat pilot s got us in the water with TWO different whale sharks, 30'-40' long and it was wonderful! And they gave us very good (in English, Spanish and French!) background information about the fish. It happens fast because whale shark snorkling is regulated to protect these grand fish, but it was well worth our money.

4.00This is a must do experience in LA paz! The water was a little choppy, but an amazing experience. Might be nice with a couple less people on the boat. Definitely recommend.
