This tour takes you to the backstreets of Bucharest and shows you more about day-to-day living (e.g. the main market) and some hidden gems off of the usual tourist trail. It was a nice counter-balance to the usual tourist highlights. It included samples of Romanian food and drink (all in the price) and the guide was both knowledgeable and forthcoming about life in Bucharest during and after the end of communism. Highly recommended.

Had a great time with Irina - the tour of the neighbourhoods and her knowledge and sense of humour were refreshing. And the food was great!

Tour was nice. Guide was very personable and friendly. Took a while before we really tried much food but when we did it was a good melange. We had an interesting group and enjoyed lively conversation. In all we felt very good about the time we spent with everyone. Our tour guide Alex was a really gracious and honest host sharing much with us all. Would definitely recommend.

Bogdan was absolutely fantastic, bringing us food from the moment we met! He was really knowledgeable about both food and the history and architecture of Bucharest. The tour was well paced and a great selection of food and drink, including catering to a vegetarian in the group, plus food allergies. I would highly recommend this tour.
