Thank you to our guide Zizou. He explained the complex history of Egypt in an easy-to-access manner and was very patient to answer our questions. Be especially careful to know that we are Taiwanese, and we will also specifically explain some words we are not more familiar with, as well as spell out the names of different pharaohs and gods. Even the English navigation won't understand! Having his tour allows us to visit the Greater Egyptian Museum more mindful~

Very excellent tour of an impressive museum with very good and competent guide. Zizou is an Egyptologist, has a profound knowledge that he could also convey very well. He immersed us in the world of ancient Egypt, he could answer all questions, speaks very good English and on top of that he is a very personable and cultured person. Luckily we booked the tour with Zizou, we can recommend without restriction. We have also had other experiences with other guides.

They have done an incredible job with this museum. We were not sure when we booked our trip that the museum would be open yet, but we lucked out with it opening weeks before we arrived. The layout and amount of artifacts already in the museum is astonishing. Our guide Zizou took us through the museum over the course of several hours. Zizou is an Egyptologist and has a vast knowledge and understanding of the history of Egypt. Despite only being in the museum a handful of times himself at that point, he gave us so much insight, answered all of our questions and was easily able to guide us through the entire museum. Please use Zizou, you will not regret it. I asked him several questions while in the museum and he was able to go into such specific detail, going well beyond the questions I asked to give a full picture of each dynasty. He’s fluent in hieroglyphics and was able to translate several of the stones as part of his explanations. Can’t recommend him enough. At the end of the trip with my dad, we left our group tour to spend the last few days with Zizou again because he was such an incredible guide.

We were fortunate to have Zizou as our guide. We were not sure the museum would be open to the public when we arrived in Cairo but when we found out it was it became a priority to see it in person. The museum is beautiful on the outside and so massive. When we visited only 12 galleries were open but these are huge galleries. Without a guide we would have only been able to see a few of the 12. Zizou took us to the most important relics and explained about what we were seeing. He assisted us with photos, helped with lunch selection (food was very good there) and made our overall experience one we will not forget. He helped us maximize our time and we left very happy with deciding to take this tour.
