What To Expect
Tsukiji Fish Market
Origin. The land on which the fish market sat was created during the Edo period by the Tokugawa shogunate after the Great fire of Meireki of 1657. It was created through land reclamation on the Tokyo Bay, and the area was therefore named Tsukiji (築地), meaning "constructed land" or "reclaimed land".
Senso-ji Temple
A temple steeped in history and lore Legend has it that in 628 AD, fishermen found a statue of Kannon in the Sumida River, and Sensoji Temple was built to enshrine it. Throughout its long history, the Main Hall has been destroyed countless times and rebuilt from the donations of people from all over Japan.

5.00We had a wonderful day with Muhammad driving us around to the top sights in Tokyo. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and managed to be in just the right place when we were ready to move from one spot to the next. There is no way we would be able to see everything we did in just one day, without this tour!

5.00Ahmad did a great job of showing us Tokyo. We saw things we could never have gotten to on our own and certainly not in a day. It was the perfect mix of “guided” and on our own and we were able to set the amount of time we spent at each site. If you book, please double check what tickets you need to purchase on your own. I skimmed that part and we almost didn’t get to go up in the Tokyo Skytree (which was really remarkable!) We had a great day! Highly recommend if you want to see the city and aren’t sure how to go about it!
