Be an artist for one day: learn the marvelous art of the watercolors with the great Venetian artist: Nicola Tenderini, that he will escort you through the city to find the ideal corner to paint, creating your own artwork by watercolors.
The experience starts at the artist workshop where he will do a brief introduction about his artistic life and watercolors art.
Then, Nicola will bring you on the romantic spot (chosen at the moment) where you start to paint your own artwork.
You will admire the wonderful landscapes of Venice creating your personal painting.
Lesson are suitable both for beginners and experts and to everyone who wishes painting would live “en plein air” discovering the techniques of watercolor.
Let you guide by the Venetian teacher and you will live the real artistic soul of Venice!

What To Expect
During the whole class the master artist will be close to you in order to explain and show the secrets and technics to gain the best pictorial reflections, colors shade between clouds and sky or the details of lights and shadows using the great technic of watercolors. Nicola run its own workshop where he shares his love for the art, in the past he has worked also in decoration works of Fenice Theatre and many 5-stars hotels in Venice! Graduated in the “Accademia of Fine Art” he’s spent his live painting with the watercolors and, now, he is considered one of the main Venetian painters in Venice.

5.00The weather was poor (raining) so we ended up in the studio which was understandable. It ended up being just the 2 of us and the artist was very patient with us as we are just beginners. He gave us some great tips about using the watercolours, creating the palette, setting up the painting and the how to construct the image. The image he chose seemed way to detailed for us but he was able to have us produce something recognisable in the 2 hour session. He is a great communicator and teacher. We would wholeheartedly recommend this experience.

5.00It was such a pleasure to follow Nicola’s instructions. Starting with evaluating which scene we wanted to paint followed by a pencil sketch them moving to the water coloring was fun! Highly recommend!!! We also enjoyed shopping in Nicola’s gallery. Ciao!

5.00Absolutely a breathtaking experience, never in my life did I think I would be standing next to an enchanting canal in VENICE, painting away live! The painter has many many years of experience and such a nice gentleman to work with. Oh gosh how I miss Venice!!!

5.00My 17-year old loved learning the art of watercolor from Nicola! He was very thorough, patient and precise in his instruction and gave her a solid introduction. The spot he chose was quiet, shaded and beautiful. It was a truly special experience to be making art in this beautiful city with a professional artist!
