Incorrect tickets and poor customer service

Booking time purchased was 11am but when we received the tickets late the night before they were for 12:30pm. We had afternoon plans that were predicated on 11am entry time. Many chats and calls to Viator were unhelpful and they were basically like “too bad”. We had very little time at the attraction because of the late entry so I can’t speak to how good it was. Will be requesting a refund.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received from your agency during my recent trip. As a traveler who was looking forward to visiting the magnificent Palace of Versailles, I found myself facing an unfortunate situation that marred my entire holiday. I purchased tickets well in advance, selecting a time that I believed would allow my family and me to fully enjoy the wonders of Versailles. However, to our dismay, we learned just before our scheduled visit that our entry time had been changed to four hours later. This last-minute alteration left us feeling deceived and frustrated because we also was travelling back home the same day. Additionally, the ticket indicated that we could enter the palace up to 30 minutes earlier, which turned out to be untrue, as entry was strictly enforced according to the specified time. Furthermore, the promise of priority access was another misleading claim, as there was no such option available. The lack of communication and responsibility on your part was shocking. Not only were we unable to visit the iconic palace as planned, but the non-refundable nature of the tickets meant that we had no recourse to recover our expenses. This experience has left a sour taste in our mouths, and we ultimately felt that our vacation was ruined. As a tourist, I expected a level of professionalism and integrity from your agency, but instead, I encountered a situation that felt untrustworthy and careless. I hope that by sharing my experience, you will reconsider your policies and practices to ensure that future traveler's do not face the same disappointment.
