Sheraz was a phenomenal guide. He brought so much information and history to the tour that I felt I walked away with much more knowledge about Hiroshima than I had started off with. He was sociable as well which is always a plus.

It was an oppressively hot day but our tour was lovely. Our guide was thoughtful about stopping to chat in the shade and to give us the time and space to enjoy each stop. He had many fascinating facts and because he was a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering, he had a deep and thorough knowledge of the technical aspects of the history of Hiroshima and the bombing during WWII. Go early in the morning before the crowds get big. We started at 9am. I wouldn’t have started any later than that.

My son and I came to Hiroshima from Kyoto by train for the day and wanted to maximize our time so we booked a walking tour. Sheraz was an excellent guide. He explained everything very well and made the trip enjoyable. We were honestly were not sure if it would be worth the trip from Kyoto, but after the tour decided we were glad that we came.
