Spending the winter season in France (& of course Bordeaux) is a magical experience. From the countless dishes oozing with melted cheese to the luscious and comforting hot chocolates in every corner, Bordeaux is a winter foodie's paradise!

On this tour, expect to try a variety of local french food that warms the soul while also learning about the city's history.

Pey Berland is a historic square located in the very heart of Bordeaux. Named after the Pey Berland Tower, this lively square offers a mix of architectural beauty, cultural significance, and vibrant energy. On this square, we will talk about the bell tower, the Saint Andre Cathedral and the famous weddings that took place here. Here, closeby to the cathedral we will try the best cannelés in town

The winter tour was such an amazing food experience. We went through a lot of very nice shops that served quality food and beverages. I loved the hot chocolate! It was perfect for the cool weather. But to top it all off, the raclette meal at the end of the tour was such an amazing filling and cozy reward. Alex's fun and insightful stories of Bordeaux adds so much to the tour that you'll feel the time pass by so quickly. Highly recommend this tour for any foodie in Bordeaux during the winter season.

We really enjoyed the Winter Tour! From the carefully selected venues to the rich stories behind each bite and sip, everything was such so well organized. A perfect way to spend the afternoon in Bordeaux. Bravo to Alexandra, aka The Bordeaux Foodie, for creating such a memorable experience!

Alexandra’s winter food tour is exquisite. She swooped us with velvety hot chocolate, vanilla-rich canelés, sweet and savory crepes, freshly melted cheese for raclette with the perfect wine to go with it. Learning history has never been more interesting. If you’re like us who love food and history, book her tour and have the most delish and informative Bordeaux experience.

Great tour! We enjoyed discovering Bordeaux and the amazing food and wine that we were able to taste during the tour. Alexandra was very kind, energetic and insightful. The tour ends in a fantastic place where we enjoyed the items we collected on our way together with some delicious wines!
