2.00This trip was actually great except the organiser was really bad. I would do the trip but with a different provider. I want to start off saying the boat crew was really nice, but the organiser was really condesencing in his contact. We did not get the Tai Chi nor the cooking class. On the way back they stopped at a clear selling point where we practically forced off the bus to listen to a speech about pearls and asked to buy things. The cherry on the cake was when the organiser tried to bribe us with a free taxi ride to the airport for a good review. Ugh.

3.00The boat itself and our room was very nice. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, our friends in the cabin next to us had a leaky shower. The bay was beautiful and it was nice to cruise along and see the sites. We enjoyed the cave, hiking up to the lookout platform and kayaking. However, everything seemed very rushed. The meals at dinner were disappointing. Seemed rather tasteless and we were disappointed that it didn't really reflect the local cuisine. Apparently I didn't read what your definition of all inclusive meant because I was very surprised that water wasn't included with meals. I certainly wouldn't expect alcoholic drinks to be included but was very disappointed about water with meals. To also learn after the fact that our hotel offered the same type of trip for $160 compared to your $220 fee added to my disappointment. It was also unfortunate for us that there was a celebrity from Turkey doing a story on Halong Bay and that seemed to overshadow the rest of us. I'm not sure why we were charged so much. I'm not sure I'll use Viator in the future.
