We have a 5pm tour on a Friday which was perfect because we had enough time for the tour and then most people left so we had time for some great pictures when it was getting close to closing. Our guide was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the entire museum and told us great places to stand to get great perspectives of different art sections.

Group was about 18, but didn't matter as the radio receivers used were great. Could hear everything. Guide was great. Received a history of Michelangelo and his time in Florence. The David statue is absolutely divine. Had plenty of time and had the place to ourselves toward the end of the tour.

I am disabled and going to a meeting point before going to the museum was not going to work for me. I went much earlier to the shop and I was able to get the tickets there and then and advised to join the red line. It all went smoothly from there in.

As it turns out I knew very little about the statue other than it was created by Michelangelo. The guide was very knowledable, and I now have a much better appreciation for work of art.

Lucy was so sweet and made it interesting for us. We don’t know much about art so if we walked around the museum on our own it wouldn’t have been nearly as interesting.

The guided tour was very good. There was no major line-up to enter. The guide was very friendly, knowledgable and passionate about the information she was sharing with the group about Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze and statue of David.

Our guide was very gracious to have waited for us (we got stuck in rain traffic). Was very knowledgeable, and moved us along quite well, giving us plenty of free time to explore at our own pace. Loved the experience.
