5.00As a group of 4 we did this tour and loved it. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and navigated the challenges of long lines extremely well - we did not wait at all. Our guide provided interesting information about displays in the museum and planned our visit to David perfectly. We had photos with David without anyone else around.

Our guide brought the statue to life, sharing fascinating stories about Michelangelo's genius, the historical context of the work, and the incredible detail and skill involved in its creation. The private nature of the tour allowed for a more intimate and engaging experience, with plenty of time for questions and discussion. 5.00Our tour guide was so wonderfully passionate about art history in Florence. We learned so much and were able to appreciate the smaller details in the architecture of Florence after our tour (which we didn’t notice before). Once we got to David, she really took her time to walk us through Michaelango’s life as an artist and walked us around the entirety of the statue, describing every detail. It was one of our favorite parts of our trip to Florence. We learned so much more than we would’ve if we had just gone to see David on our own. I recommend bringing comfortable shoes, water, and perhaps a hat or an umbrella if you’re doing this since it’s all walking. It was extremely hot when we did it in August, but very worth it. Couldn’t recommend this more!

His wealth of knowledge, timing, and depth and breadth of the Gallerie were just amazing. We appreciated the end of the tour when we were practically the only ones in the museum. We would highly recommend.

5.00Our guide, Oksana, was absolutely brilliant!! Knowledgeable and engaging, she made our visit to see David exceptional. Oksana began giving us the history of David while we waited on the entrance line. As we entered the museum she gave us a detailed talk on the building, the paintings and when we entered the room and saw David, the discussion of the magnificent statue was detailed and she took us around each angle of the sculpture and relayed so many details and information. Had we not had this tour we would not have had such an informed and magical day. Highly, highly recommend. Worth every penny!!
