What To Expect
Luling
We offer Airboat Tours in a private swamp. Our tour location is about 35 minutes from downtown New Orleans. You will board one of our state-of-the-art modern airboats specially designed for us. Your captain will give you information about the animals that reside here as well as other educational information about the swamps. This is a half high speed ride with a mixture of history with it, our tour on the boat last approx. 1 hour 30 minutes. We offer hotel pickup of you could drive out to our location.

5.00Fun experience! Our tour guide was super informative. This time of the year is rather quiet for wildlife but our guide was able to show us a couple of nesting alligators. Fun ride on the airboat. Great time had by all!

4.00It was better than I expected. Learned so much. Was able to see plenty of wildlife even though it was cold. Tour guide was awesome and very informative. Answered every question. Took tons of pictures and was even able to hold a baby alligator which is an experience I'll never forget and probably never have the chance to do it again. The only disappointment was that there wasn't many alligators out due to the cold. I didn't know they hibernate but even with that we still got to see a couple.

5.00What a fun experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and educated us on alligators as well as history of the area. Just a heads up, we went in December and apparently that’s the more quiet season for them. So, if you really want to see alligators active it’s better to go in April.

5.00We reserved advanced online tickets for the premium 6-passenger small boat for a weekday, cold December afternoon. Luckily, our tour guide knew the swamp like the back of his hand and found our lone alligator, “toothless,” backed into a hole, keeping herself warm. It was really hidden, and I would have missed it 10 times if I had driven by. We also saw other wildlife, including birds, an eagle, and a raccoon. Plus, he operates on the edge and clipped the wood on some old water blinds. We drove ourselves there, so we didn't have to incur the pickup or drop-off fee. Competitive pricing and friendly staff. Souvenirs, snacks, beverages, and a restroom are available. Remember to try to go on a warm day so you can see more gators. If not wear gloves and a hat cause it gets cold.
