Very fun experience. Chef was awesome. We made black beans and rice, to salty to eat although we didnt add the salt it came from whatever kind of broth they gave us to cook the beans in ahead of time. We made pork chops with special seasoning which was wonderful. Bananna foster we made was really good. The experience was very nice. Small amount of people in class. Wine flowed as long as you wanted it. Highly recommended to take for the evening. Chef Cynthia i believe was her name....

Everyone I come to NO I either take a class or just replenish my home stock of seasonings. Anytime I bring someone for the first time. I always bring them here for a demo or cooking class. Very authentic and knowledgeable staff.

A welcoming environment. Even for someone who doesn’t cook very often, Chef Ricardo made it personable and fun. Will definitely use these recipes and come back to learn more. Had a great time!

We had a wonderful time at this cooking class in New Orleans! The menu was fantastic, the wine was flowing, and the atmosphere made for a truly memorable experience. The chef was incredibly knowledgeable and, along with his sous chef, went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free needs—even though there was a mix-up and he wasn’t aware of my request beforehand. They improvised seamlessly, ensured cross-contamination was avoided, and even created a special dessert option so I could fully participate while the rest of the group enjoyed pecan pie. I really appreciated the effort to make me feel included in the entire process. Highly recommend—great food, great wine, and great company!

Delicious food. Wonderful company. An excellent instructor. Plus, we got to take home some fantastic recipes. Lynn and Rico welcomed us as if we were family. The hands-on cooking experience was fantastic and suitable for individuals of all cooking skill levels. Lynn, our instructor, moved gracefully and playfully between the various cooking stations, ensuring that everyone received her attention. Her upbeat humor and engaging style is unparalleled - she is like the fun Aunt who wants to make sure everyone enjoys their time. We valued the historical context, insights, and interesting tidbits about the dishes we were preparing. It felt like we were doing more than just cooking; we were engaging with the rich history behind the food. The experience lasted three hours, but the time flew by due to the engaging cooking activities and lively conversations. We not only learned about our hosts but also enjoyed great discussions with the other participants. Learning to make a dish I have loved for years was a delightful experience, and it turned out to be easier than I had anticipated. While we waited, we looked over their schedule and found that the day and time of the visit dictates the dishes to be prepared, offering a wonderful variety and potential for a different experience each time. Our group prepared cheese grits, sausage and chicken gumbo, BBQ shrimp, crepes, and bananas Foster. Each group prepared all the dishes, allowing each to season to their liking. We had ample time to savor the food we made while chatting with the rest of the group. Although Rico was busy with preparation and cleanup, he still contributed to the evening's enjoyment. He and Lynn make a great team and are genuinely welcoming. It was a culinary journey through the flavors and history of New Orleans. We learned techniques and recipes that we can take home to continue this delightful experience. Definitely an experience we would love to do again.
