5.00Excellent private tour. Being reasonably fluent in Castilian, I chose the Spanish tour. Alba Jimenez is supremely knowledgeable, a native-born Granadan who since childhood always wanted to be a tour guide for the Alhambra--and it shows! I am already familiar with the history of the Alhambra, having visited many times in years prior. But I confess I chose this tour so that I could get a ticket. I normally avoid tours, but the website for the Alhambra was malfunctioning for days, so I panicked and signed up for the tour. I am glad I did! Alba was fantastic, and indeed I learned new and fascinating things about the Alhambra that only a true, deeply-knowledgable expert like Alba could provide. Many, many thanks, Alba!

1.00They could not get the tickets. We got told at midnight the night before, after we had traveled with the family to Grenada. I'm pretty sure what they do is charge a big premium upfront and then try find secondary market tickets. When they can't get them, you get told at the last minute they have a "technical error". A very disappointing situation when you have come a long way.

I felt glad to have an absolute expert taking us through the Alhambra. I would have loved to speak with her for hours; I can't recommend her enough!

5.00Jana was an amazing guide to the Alhambra. She was fun, knowledgeable and energetic, and we got so much more out of our visit thanks to her. The three hour tour is packed with info without which the huge complex would make far less sense. She makes it fun and fascinating and bonus that we got to skip the lines! Don't visit Granada without seeing this amazing site.
