  The tour guide was excellent and gave an interactive and comprehensive tour. The Alhambra was very crowded and the upper section of the fort was closed due to renovation which is no fault of the tour guide or the company

  Ana was a wealth of knowledge at the history of the Alhambra. Finding the guide was easy as there is a section in the Generalife for Guides. Having a small group made it much easier to navigate around and spend time taking it all in. Going off season in Feb was definitely the way to go. If you go in summer be prepared for long lines and heat.

  Our tour guide, Guillermo, did not check to ensure the small group of 18 was together. Nor did he announce that he was starting to move on to the next location. This resulted in several of the group being left behind and depending on others to assist with catching up with him. On entering the Generale you through a narrow crowded area our audio changed from English to Spanish, there were 3 groups mixed together in a small narrow entrance hall. Guillermo did not provide any directions on where he was going to. As a result I and my brother in law were separated from our family, 4 of us. Guillermo never noticed, my husband after some 30 minutes was able to reach me by phone. At that point after putting Guillermo on the phone it was determined it would take about 15 minutes for him to get to where we were standing next to a location sign. We missed the entire Generalife tour. Additional the majority of the 18 in the group had problems with the audio cutting out and having static. It wasn't until we reached the Vino gate was the group able to get the audio resolved. Further more even after asking Guillermo to turn and alert the group when he was moving on he did not. This left the group depending on each other to ensure that all participants continued on together. Half of the group were sharing their dissatisfaction with Guillermo. When we went through the military section and showed our tickets Guillermo never announced that there were further checks ahead. Some members of the group discarded the paper tickets in the trash. Guillermo indicated that they could not continue to the Palace. After some concern was noted he had a loud discussion at the gate and they were finally allowed in. Through the palace which crowded with multiple groups vying for the same footprint to stand on Guillermo never advised he was moving on resulting in the group again assisting each other so we stayed together. All Guillermo had to do was turn to face the group and wave his arm and announce on the audio he was moving on. Although his commentary was extensive as a group we we not always aware that he had moved on to another detail. Overall Guillermo was one of the worst guides we had experienced in the over 16 countries I have traveled to. I will be contacting Trip Advisor's customer service department by phone to discuss the situation.l

  When we arrived at the meeting point 13 .40,well in timefor the 14.00 English tour,we were told that the tour time was changed to 12.00.our booking specifically mentioned " the local tour operator does not allow changes to this booking".we were told to do the tour on our own which was not for what we contracted and paid for Later at 13.57,we received a missed call indicating that the tour is now starting .This only came to our attention later the evening You can understand that we are totally disappointed in the outcome of our trip

  This premium Alhambra tour was one of the highlights of our trip. With only six people in the group, the experience felt intimate and unrushed. The tour covered the Alhambra, the stunning Nasrid Palaces, and the Generalife gardens. Although I wish I remembered our guide’s name, he was outstanding. The tour was in English, and his ability to read and interpret the Arabic inscriptions throughout the palaces truly set this tour apart. He placed a strong and respectful emphasis on the Arabic Muslim history of the site, which gave us a much deeper understanding of its architecture, symbolism, and cultural importance. This tour was educational, meaningful, and absolutely worth booking.

  The Alhambra is one of the great monuments of the world. The history, coupled with incredible architecture make it truly remarkable. The gardens, palace & fortress all have their own unique characteristics- which together are amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable & friendly, she had a very strong accent which made some of her information hard to understand. Either way, the Alhambra is spectacular! • Overpriced, bad audio, and difficult to understand guide.

  We only booked this because all of the general admission tickets were sold out. We were quite disappointed. This is WAY overpriced. The audio system for the guide was terrible and kept having issues for everyone in the group. The guide was very sweet, but her English was difficult to understand. My advice is to just book general admission tickets and walk through on your own. Can be done at a leisurely pace in 1.5 hours, not the 3 hours that the tour consisted of.
