  A full day on a boat with opportunitiy to visit Amalfi and Positano; the church of St. Andreas a "must" to visit - but on the other hand you need to accept the crowds of tourists

  It started with our being told to go to a pick up point that was a 30 minute walk from our hotel. We got in the van and the driver went to one block From our hotel to pick up Other guests. The tour did not start at 800 as advertised. We had to be picked up at 700 and then waited an hour until the boat was ready to go at 830. The boat captain was very rude to a customer when we were Boarding. Then we sat up top near the wheelhouse. The three crew members were smoking and doing shots. We arrived at Amalfi at 11:15. We were told To be back at the pier at 215 which we were. No sign of a boat or any crew members. We finally found the two tour guides who took a group to Ravello. They said the boat was coming. It finally docked close to 300. We went to Positano and were Told to be at the pier at 415 but the same Thing happened. We didn't actually leave until almost five o'clock for an almost three hour ride back to where we started. This tour was advertised as 8 hours leaving at 800 which meant we should have been back at 400. The water was rough on the way back and the boat was going very fast to make up Time so everyone had to ride inside Or Risk getting soaked. They finally off Loaded us From the boat into a taxi but not where we started. The driver was kind enough to drop us at our hotel. Overall rude unprofessional staff that had no sense Of Time.

  To start with a notice about change in pickup location and time was sent 13 days before trip and we missed the change among 33 other Viator emails. We got a phone call 7 am about missing pickup. So $100 taxi later we made the Port for trip. It was more like a shuttle service to Amalfi a long coast, with no amenities except for one WC for 50+ passengers. It was a nice scenic cruse with the 2 stops in ports of Amalfi and Positano. After the cruise, we were dropped off at miles from where we expected (it was the new location in missed email). So, another taxi late after dark and difficult to get. Note our requested pickup was 5-minute walk for our lodging. I will say the staff running the cruise were organized helpful from start to disembark and transportation. PS plan on whole day 12 hours

  This was an extremely disappointing experience. Nowhere does it explain that you are in a midsize ferry boat picking up people at two locations on the way to Amalfi and back. When we were on the boat on our way back, the guy was standing over us and pressuring us to provide a 5-star review. Looking back, I think that they might have known about the transportation problem back to hotel. Once we arrived at the location for transportation back to the hotel, they didn't have enough room for about 40% of the people. A small van would come and pick up some people and leave. We were on the last van after a couple of mini vans. We had to wait in the parking lot for about 45 minutes to get a ride back. It cost us an extra two hours. Save a lot of money, time and aggravation and take the ferry yourself.

  The trip was great our guide was good also. The only turnoff of the whole day was on our way home one of the guides went to every person asking them to do a review while he was there with his help. We relied on the integrity of reviews to pick our events and this was very disappointing.

  Very good experience, good care from start to finish. Well-adapted programming, the time to visit the different cities is sufficient. Big plus of the excursion, the guides are with little care with each, good advice, and great adaptability for languages. I recommend!
