We had an exceptional day at Nara Deer Park that exceeded all our expectations with our great guide Yukari. Walking among the freely roaming deer while exploring the parks and the temples around was a truly unique and peaceful experience. Make sure you get a perfect weather for the tour, and make a visit to the museum.

We asked to spend the whole day in Nara and our guide was very nice and flexible. Ohbayashi was such a fun and enthusiastic guide. Our whole family, including our 10 and 12 yearold girls, absolutely loved spending the day with him. He was thoughtful and attentive to everyone’s needs exploring the Arashiyama Nara Park with its deer. We learned so much about the of Nara and its temples. It was a fantastic full day, and we would highly recommend touring with Ohbayashi again.

We had an incredible experience on our Arashiyama and Nara tour with Carre. She was easy to communicate with and very flexible, even arranging the itinerary on short notice to match what we wanted to see. Carre made sure we felt comfortable throughout the day while showing us highlights like the bamboo grove, Todai ji Temple and asked to spend a lot of time in the fascinating Otagi Nenbutsu temple, since we asked to skip Nara. We never felt rushed, and his local knowledge made the day truly special. We would absolutely recommend this tour and would happily book with her again.

My daughter and I had such a wonderful day with Keiko! It felt like exploring Kyoto with a close friend. She showed us beautiful places like the Arashiyama Bamboo grove, Todaiji temple, and Nara park with the friendly deer. Keiko also helped us take some great pictures, which we love, and even gave my daughter a cute origami gift—she was so happy! We highly recommend a tour with Keiko

Mike was very attentive and focused on our interests, making sure we experienced the highlights of both Arashiyama and Nara in a way that suited us perfectly. The best part was walking through Nara Park with him and learning fascinating stories about the deer and the temples along the way. Fun, informative, and truly memorable — we couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

The guide provided interesting insights into Japanese culture and history, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. The pace was just right, allowing plenty of time to take in the sights without feeling rushed.

Fabulous and highly recommended!! We went to the deer park and the big temple in Nara with our fabulous guide Yoshiniki who was a very nice lady and great guide. She gifted Origami to our kids in the morning so the kids gave her a lot of attention during the tour. We had Sushi for lunch based on Yoshiniku recommendation that was just perfect. We ended the tour in Arashiyama and were dropped off by our private car in Kyoto. Yoshiniki deserves all the best, she made the tour a great experience to our kids!

We booked this tour to have one full day in the Arashiyama area east of Kyoto. We recommend starting early to avoid crowds. Keiko was very flexible and accepted starting at 7:30 am. Our kids enjoyed the monkey park the most in Kyoto.

Definitely a must see if you're in Kyoto or Osaka. This is a great tour to one of many UNISECO Heritage sights. Our guide was Kingo was fantastic. His knowledge and passion for the rich culture and history of the area was impressive. Deer park is fun for kids, the deer can get a little aggressive if you hide food, but if you bow they bow back which was pretty cool. I highly recommend this tour, and make sure you fit in the Golden Shrine.
