This tour has been designed for those people who wish to do a lot of sightseeing in the morning without much effort, have lunch, and then relax in the hot springs for most of the afternoon
This tour does not include ziplining/rappelling activities (The stop at Go Adventure Park is for the Indigenous presentation only)

What To Expect
Travel to the Arenal Volcano area, the most popular touristic region of Costa Rica, and enjoy many of the beauties of the country on this full-day trip. Your tour starts in the morning when you are picked up from your hotel in the San Jose area in an air-conditioned vehicle and you will then travel to Arenal on an alternative route that is more scenic than the regular highway to this popular destination. On the way to Arenal, you will stop in a plantation where you will learn about coffee of Costa Rica, here you will be able to observe the coffee plants and see the workers picking the ripe cherries during the harvest season. Your guide will share information on this important product to the local economy and other important facts (coffee degustation will be provided later in a rustic coffee shop).
Continue your tour with a visit to the famous La Paz Waterfall, where you will stop on the side of the road for a few minutes to take pictures of this popular attraction surrounded by lush tropical rainforest.

5.00We had a wonderful time. The various sights and experiences enjoyed on this trip will be memorable. Our tour guide and driver were overtly kind and hospitable-not to mention knowledgeable and patient. The van was clean, bathroom stops were plentiful and considerate. The food along the way was great too! I will say, this is a very long day, so be prepared with the advised list, and bring lots of water and prepare for winding mountainous roads— all beautiful, nevertheless. A warm thank you to Steven and Jeffery for the great trip!

5.00Absolutely unforgettable experience in Costa Rica! This excursion was hands-down one of the highlights of my trip. We packed so much beauty and culture into one day from learning about Costa Rica’s rich coffee traditions at a plantation, to standing in awe of a stunning waterfall surrounded by lush jungle. Every stop felt thoughtfully planned and never rushed. Seeing Arenal Volcano up close was breathtaking, but the perfect ending was soaking in the hot springs, pure relaxation after an adventure-filled day. The guide Steven were knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about sharing Costa Rica’s history, nature, and “pura vida” spirit. If you’re visiting Costa Rica and want an experience that blends adventure, education, and relaxation all in one, this tour is an absolute must. I would 100% do it again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area! 🌋☕💦
