Our family really enjoyed this all-day adventure! There is a ton of walking and even more stairs, so be prepared. I swear I didn't think I'd make it back up all these steps from the waterfall, and I'm in fairly good shape. Also, there was one suspension bridge that I wasn't expecting. I'm deathly afraid of heights. My family (and I) couldn't believe that I crossed it (twice). There isn't a way not to go across it, so I want to disclose this to others, maybe reading this review with the same fear. I just didn't look down and walked very fast. The swimming in the waterfall area was chilly and refreshing! The scenery was all beautiful. The food was yummy!

We had an absolutely amazing time. Definitely worth every penny! Our guide Carlos(Charlie) was amazingly informative and was great at finding animals and giving interesting facts about our surroundings. 10/10 recommend to anybody! :)

We had a great day on our tour with Red Lava. Our guide, Diego, was informative and enthusiastic (and a great photographer). Our first stop at Arenal was a little cloudy at first, but on our way out there was a break in the fog that allowed us to get a nice shot. The waterfall was breathtaking (partly because of the view and partly because of the cold water). The final stop at the hot springs was a nice end to the day, allowing us to wind down for the evening.

Great over all!The tour bus picked us from the Airbnb even though it was few kilometers away from the center..We booked it 3 weeks before our travel. It is convenient when you are not familiar with the area . Very friendly team. Lunch was average. Still filling. We couldn’t enjoy the hot springs due to heavy rain . But had a great day!
