What To Expect
Arrive in Shanghai at Pudong International Airport (PVG) with ease and comfort. Shanghai's magnetic levitation (Maglev) train opened for service in November 2004, and makes the 19.8-mile (32-km) trip between Pudong Airport (PVG) and downtown Shanghai in only 8 minutes. You will be met upon arrival at Pudong Airport by a local representative and accompanied aboard the Maglev. Once you arrive in downtown Shanghai you will be driven to your hotel. Our staff will accompany you from the Pudong Airport to your hotel. Just look for your name sign in the greeting area of Pudong Airport. • English-Speaking Services • Worry-Free for the flight delay

5.00We regrettably cannot remember our guide’s name as it has been a few days since this transfer from Shanghai Airport, on Maglev train & then transfer to our hotel. In short, this is the ONLY transfer to do if you are new to mainland China. Our guide met us on time after we went through immigration. Super efficient, good English, seamless transfers by train & car, welcoming & helpful! He clearly loves his job. What a great feeling getting to our hotel with such ease & professionalism. This is a no brainer 10/10.

4.00We were waiting for 30 minutes in airport. The guide was late. It wasn’t a good first impression. But he arrived and he was quite helpful and good english. He explained to us about maglev, shanghai, and helped us with our luggages from airport, maglev and until arrived in airport. He also helped us took pictures with maglev. It’s not cheap but if you want the experience, it’s worth it.

5.00The high-speed train runs between the airport and a suburb of Shanghai. If you live in the middle of the city you need a taxi from the terminus birs to the center of the city. Twice a day the train also runs up to 400km (1x in the morning and 1x in the afternoon for about 1 hour) otherwise at least 300km is usual. You can't feel the speed on the train at all and even by looking at the landscape you can't really guess how fast the train is. However, a speed indicator on the train then provides information about the actual speed. It is definitely an experience and the costs are not overrun.

5.00Enjoyed the novelty of this train ride top speed 300km/h. A very good way to get to and from the heart of Shanghai to the airport. Not very well sign posted when arriving by taxi at the Longyan Rd station.

5.00It is a unique experience to live even once in a lifetime. You can take to get to or from the airport (Pudong Airport Terminal 2) to a station that connects to line 2 going downtown. It's a very comfortable train and you don't feel the speed, but it's wonderful to know that you're going 300 km/hour on the fastest train in the world. It only costs 50 yuan (less than USD 10) and even gives you a 10% discount if your flight is the same day.

5.00Meet us with English speaking guide. Had a very visible sign with all 6 guest. Stayed with us to hotel and assisted us with kLuggage.
