Prepare yourselves for the one and only sea kayaking experience that Athens has to offer! Admire stunning views from the seaside along the Athenian Riviera all the way to Cape Sounio and to the famous Temple of Poseidon! En route you will have the chance of having a light snack on one of the islets. Upon arrival to Cape Sounio, visit the famous temple and end your day with a marvelous meal, enjoying unique views and the sunset of the Saronic gulf. There is a maximum of 10 participants for this tour.

For this tour, guests should NOT exceed the limit of : 280kg (617lbs) per couple/pair for a double sea kayak -- 120 kg approx. maximum per participant 2m (6,5 ft) each This is mostly for safety reasons but also for the guests’ comfort, following the technical specifications of the manufacturer of our kayaks’ fleet. What To Expect

Meet you at your hotel in Athens and drive along the Athenian Coast whilst enjoying marvelous sea views. Gradually the setting turns more rural than urban until you reach the beach of Charakas where you will prepare for a once in a life time sea kayaking experience. Once you try on your equipment and after your guides' briefing on paddling and safety your journey is ready to begin. Paddle along the coast and enjoy the crystal clear waters, mighty cliffs and hidden caves. Take a stop at the island of Archi or on one of the beaches of Legrena for a swim and refreshing snack. Having refueled your energy, continue to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon, which you will first admire from the sea before you shore to the beach. The tour includes an entrance fee to the Temple of Poseidon before ending the day at a Greek tavern for a delicious Greek meal.

Fantastic experience! Would recommend it to all people visting athen! Gabriel and Stratos were really nice guys and provided us with everything we needed. Transportation, a kajaktour with snorkeling and fruits at a secluded beach, a visit to the temple of poseidon, a very nice dinner and also nice conversations and insights into Greek culture. We had a really fun time even as beginners!

We really enjoyed this excursion. The guide were fun and patience with us. Although it feels a bit pricey. It is totally worth it. We got to walk around the temple which had amazing views. Lunch was fantastic. We got to try different food that they recommend. We kayaked for about 3 hours, taking a 30 minute break. We came so late in the season (end of September ) that there wasn't a crowed. If it is just one or two people in your group, it might be better to book the pick up and drop off option. We booked a private ride which cost about 90 euro each way. You can take busses from Athens to a nearby area, but then you will have to Take a taxi the rest if the way. We all agreed that this was our favorite day in greece. They also offered us a dry bag to keep in the kayak, or anything that need to be kept dry, like clothes or a towel. There was also a bathroom you could change into dry clothes. The view is beautiful and we loved getting to spend some time on the sea.

Great kayaking trip. We did quite a lot of kayaking (around 3-4km I think). We went around the temple of Poseidon which we then went and visited afterwards. We also had some melon and banana snacks and lunch was a lovely spread of seafood and greek cuisine which was all included in the price. Our tour guides were very professional and took some awesome photos of us which we received later on.

We had a great trip Kayaking on the sea. It was some work as we're used to kayaking rivers and lakes but the water was so clear and the views were amazing. The meal at the end was too notch!
The way the temple of Poseidon is meant to be seen.

The guides are experts and attentive, making sure everyone is taken care of and safe. The water is warm and clear in the view of the temple of Poseidon is the cherry on top. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the water and would do it again in a heartbeat..

Best tour we did in Athens, by far. Gabriel and Aries made this day so much fun for us. The pick up and drive to the kayaking location was all smooth and timely. Aries was a fabulous, patient guide, who taught us a lot about kayaking (we had different abilities in our group) and pointed out landmarks with accompanying stories along the way. We stopped for a swim and light snack at a very private beach. We returned to a short tour of the temple of Poseidon and the a fabulous meal of fresh seafood and local fare. The perfect day. We are just waiting for the photos Aries took of our group during the kayaking. Please send! Thank you!!

Boat and crew were great but be prepared for a windy and exciting sailing. The island of Delos was fascinating if you enjoy history and ancient ruins. I actually wish we’d had more time there. Overall a great experience!
