Arrive at Porinou 5, 11742 inside the tour office to meet your licensed guide, an experienced archaeologist, and then start your unique combination of a tour. Enter from the south slope of the Acropolis and set off on your leisurely walking tour of some of the world’s finest monuments. Visit the Theater of Dionysus — an amphitheater that is arguably the birthplace of performing arts. Perch yourself on one of the stone seats to imagine the sights and sounds experienced by ancient theatergoers who came to watch plays by Greek writers Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides. The theater is still used today during the Athens Festival from May to October. Once you familiarize yourself with the site's classical architecture, head indoors to the New Acropolis Museum, ranked one of the top five museums in the world. The New Acropolis Museum features collections of statues and other artifacts from everyday life in several galleries. Finish your tour with a selection of Greek tastes.

Acropolis
The Acropolis of Athens is an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens and contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historical significance
Parthenon
The Parthenon is an ancient Greek temple located on the Acropolis of Athens, dedicated to the goddess Athena. Built between 447 and 438 BCE during the Athenian Golden Age, it is considered a masterpiece of classical architecture. The temple is known for its harmonious proportions, Doric design, and iconic columns. It originally housed a massive statue of Athena by Phidias. Though partially damaged over the centuries, the Parthenon symbolizes ancient Greek culture and democracy.

5.00Very informational and detailed. The guide Anna was excellent knowledgeable and with a real sense of humor. The tour was a bit difficult due to the climbing but our guide took great care and made sure we were safe. Highly recommend.

5.00Very comprehensive and informative tour with about two hours at Acropolis and Parthenon. Well paced for a mostly older small group. Museum visit was only about an hour but covered all key exhibits fully. Lunch was very good and worth the extra cost. Overall a superb tour in the right amount of time.

5.00Natasha was our tour guide and I think the best tour guide I have ever had. She was so knowledgeable and spoke English perfectly. We toured the Pantheon and followed with the museum. I loved this tour!!! We ended with a great meal at Arcadia. Loved this tour and especially Natasha!!

5.00I cannot recommend this tour enough! Our tour guide, Alexandra Kolia, was very informative and entertaining- she provided so much history of the Acropolis in such a fun way. She also made sure we had the best views of the Acropolis, Parthenon, & City of Athens (from atop the Acropolis) for both the sights and photos. Also, in the Museum, Alexandra highlighted the most important points and insightfully answered any questions about the objects/ sculptures. The lunch too was very delicious and authentic. A must do for your first time in Athens.

5.00What a great tour to see the highlights of the Acropolis and the museum. Our tour guide, Penelope, was fantastic relaying wonderful information about the area and what we were seeing. She took many stops on the way to the top and managed to find shady spots as well. We had the lunch option with the tour, and the food was fantastic.

5.00Wear good hiking/walking shoes and be prepared for lots of walking. The tour was wonderful and very informative. Our guide Helen was well spoken and helpful. We took the expanded tour and also enjoyed our Greek lunch.
