The English guide tells the story about conditions and live of prisoners and show the remains of barracks, watchtower, railway ramps, gas chambers and crematorium. After completing the sightseeing, return back to Cracow and finish the tour at the reception of your hotel.

DEPARTURE TIME: You will be picked up from your selected location between 2:00am to 1:30pm depending on museum's availability to start the tour. We will inform you the final pickup time at least 12 hours prior to pickup time so you can make plan to arrive at pickup location.
LUGGAGE SIZE: Each traveller is allowed a maximum size of any baggage allowed in The Auschwitz Birkenau Museum is 30x20x10 cm. This is more or less the size of an A4 sheet. It's okay to have a small handbag or wallet with you. If your luggage is bigger, you can leave it in the locked bus parked next to the museum. Our driver will look after your luggage while you are away.
WEATHER: We operates in all weather conditions, during this tour, you will spend up to 70% of the time outdoors, especially during the second part at Birkenau Memorial Place. Please bring weather appropriate clothing.
HOTEL PICKUP: Some of the hotels located in Kraków Old Town are in traffic restricted area and no direct pickup is available. In that case we provide a pickup from closest possbile pickup point.
In order to enter the Auschwitz Musuem customer must provide tour provider with full names of all participants. Otherwise customers won't be allowed to enter.
ID DOCUMENTS: Every visitor has to bring ID to verify. Otherwise the security might refuse enter the Musuem
In the absence of a guide, the tour will be organized by purchasing tickets at the ticket office for a guided tour.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

1.00Booked and paid immediately Auschwitz tour, we were 5, 3 adults and 2 teenagers. I immediately received a booking email, saying that in the afternoon I received further information on a specific time. Arrived in the evening I tried to contact in all ways assistance and the local tour. But no answer. I receive a text message on WhatsApp where he introduces himself as a local guide and informing me that the tour the following day had been cancelled. I try again to contact customer service after waiting hour and they tell me that they do not know that the tour is cancelled and confirm the booking. In the morning all ready for the appointment, it was for 10.I call back to the meeting point and wait. Now 10.15 I try to call, they tell me they don't know and they contact me again. I wait until 11 and call back and they tell me that the local guide does not answer and that they see if they book me for Saturday. But they know full well there are no tickets. I call back in the afternoon and ask for a refund and it is given to me after another call after 7 days. Spent 3 days of my holidays on the phone with customer service and understand this tour that was no longer done and with 430.00 less for the holidays. Never again.

1.00The tour was cancelled because the pickup time was 2,45 in the morning, We played in cash of 3500 zlotys at the offices in the old town square Krakow Poland, they told us after going to the above offices several times that they couldn't give are 3500 sloths back because the manager was not in the office but send are bank details to the GR8way tour group old town square Krakow and they will refund 3500 zlotys in to are account. That was booked on the 6-12-2025 but after returning to England they haven't returned are money and don't reply to are e-mails or phone calls , we have tried and tried on more than 20 occasions but no reply . Looking like this GR8way tours old town square Krakow have scamed us because of the no reply.

1.00Purchased a 10 am access through tripadvisor. After paying the ticket was for a 2:20,am pick up 2 miles from our hotel in the pitch black. We arrived at Auschwtiz to queue on the pavement, in the freezing rain, for 6 hours. We were deceived by tripadvisor. Never again!

1.00I should have looked at the reviews before validating this excursion with this operator, indeed he signals the day before departure 02h15 😱, instead of 06h30 it stings but hey... Arrived at 3:30 in front of the memorial waiting standing in the cold until the ticket office opens 06:30 Frankly it's what this B.... The driver of the minibus still makes us wait until 8am to buy the tickets during this time entire buses that have just arrived pass us with tickets in hand😡🤔. Start of the tour 9:30 am. A tip buy your tickets directly from the official Auschwitz website and organise to get there train bus etc.. it will not cost you more.

Bohdan picked us up directly from our hotel in a very clean and comfortable car and drove us to Auschwitz, then safely returned us to the hotel at the end of the day. From start to finish he was friendly, kind, and extremely professional. He was very chatty and approachable, sharing lots of interesting and informative insights throughout the journey, which really added to the experience. He also handled such a sensitive visit with respect and care, making us feel comfortable at all times. Bohdan is a very safe and confident driver, and the whole day ran smoothly and stress-free. 1.00Do not book through this company. We originally had the Auschwitz tour booked through a different company which unfortunately got cancelled the afternoon before due to lack of tour guides so, I made the mistake of not reading the reviews for this tour first as I was desperate to find a booking. We booked the hotel pickup for 6:30am, which would’ve got us to Auschwitz for opening, shortly after booking they sent a message stating they have changed our pickup time and location, the pickup time was changed to 2:20am and the location was just a random street in Krakow. We agreed to the pickup as we didn’t have another day on our trip to visit the museum. When the driver arrived he made it seem like this was one of few times that this has happened, but after reading the reviews for this trip it has been going on for a long time. We arrived at Auschwitz at around 3:30am and then we had to queue outside in -1°. We were told the ticket offices open at 7:30am and then we would get straight through. The first gates opened at 6:30 and then we had to queue again. At around 7:30 alot of coaches arrived and alot of groups got straight through before any of us that have been queuing since 3:30am. We ended up getting through the ticket office at 8:00am and we got the 8:30am tour. The actual tour of Auschwitz & Birkenau was really good and informative, its definitely something that you need to experience, the tour guide we had was amazing and was very thorough explaining the history. This company have falsely advertised these tickets, it makes it seem like you are pre-booking but you are just booking to queue outside in the cold for 5 hours for the first come first serve tickets. I have seen a few reviews stating not to book through Viator but Viator is just the advertising site, we booked a few other trips through Viator that were amazing and could not fault. I would recommend reading the reviews before booking on here.

1.00Booked a tour leaving st 11 am get told the day before by a very rude lady we are now on the 6am tour take it or leave it , we took it as there was nothing available later . Lots of cheaper tours at 6 am so we paid over the odds for a tour with a good departure time to one leaving in the middle of the night . Lots of better company’s to use
