During the whole journey, from pickup to drop off, you are looked after by a qualified English-speaking driver who will make you feel safe and comfortable. We provide comfortable transport in a small group of up to 8 people. You will be able to spend more time learning about culture and history instead of standing in a long queue for tickets.
For last-minute bookings, pickup times are confirmed one day before the tour after 3:00 pm. Hotel pickups are most often between 6:00 am and 8:00 am.

What To Expect
Krakow
Hotel pickup takes place 2 hours before the scheduled tour time. We provide a safe ride with an English-speaking driver in a comfortable car/minivan in a group of maximum 8 people. The route from Krakow to Auschwitz takes 1.5 hours.
Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
The driver will take you to the entrance and give you tickets. Then you will have a security check similar to the one at the airport. ID cards will also be checked. The tour takes place in a 30-person group with a local guide. Each participant receives headphones. The first part of the tour is Auschwitz 1 - it lasts about 2 hours. Then there will be a 15-minute break during which the driver will take you to the second part of the museum - Birkenau. You will spend about 1 hour here. After the tour, the driver will take you back to the hotel.

4.00All comunication and the logistisk was perfect. Driver Simon was exelent! We could only wish for a littel more time in Auschwitz, but that is bechause we were very intriged and interested to learn more. It really was a trip to reccomend and made a big impression.

5.00A haunting reminder of our not so distant past. Very glad we did this tour. Upsetting and hard but important. Logistics. Driver picked us up from our Airbnb very early around 6am and we picked up other people. All told 8 people in our van and a 90 minute drive to the site. Communication was not great the evening before to figure out when we would get picked up. Received no communication and after reaching out to unhelpful Viator helpdesk, I found a contact number in a pdf download- not on any other communication. I WhatsApp texted the number and got a response within 30 minutes, then I began receiving communication around pickup (like 8pm the night before!) and an optional provided lunch which we took advantage of - highly recommend getting the lunch. A good value and there was no time to go to the cafe in between the Auschwitz and Berkenau tours. The driver wasn’t our guide. It’s pretty clear this operation just buys directly through the Auschwitz site so you are paying them to buy up all the tickets before tourists get to them and then drive you to and between the sites. Honestly, I didn’t mind paying more for the convenience but was frustrated by lack of communication at the outset.
