Please make sure to bring with you to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, ID or PASSPORT, because the guards will ask about it before enter. Without it, you will not be able to enter the museum.

Picked up on time an 8 seater vehicle 4 of us and 2 other couples, the ride to auschwitz was 1 1/2 hrs arrived parked up and driver took us to main entrance area where we had a sticker given to each of us for our group had a 10 min toilet break whilst stood in a huge queue which was slowly moving, there was A Lot of people there, there was another que for people who hadn't booked which we were told they could be waiting 4hrs or more and still might not gain entry, they get 7000 vistors a day! Take your Passport it does get checked your ticket will have your name on it. The lady guide we had was loverly who took us round, you get head phones to hear her she was very informative, we took a small back pack with some water and food this was allowed but no eating, this booking had messaged requesting order numbers for a lunchbox when I messaged back stating none was required I had another message stating we wouldn't be allowed to take our own and couldn't leave on minibus, out of 8 passengers only 2 chose to book a lunchbox but when we got back to minibus to go to next camp we ate on there whilst waiting to be taken to Birkenau camp which is only a few minutes away the tour lady met us there to continued the tour, You get took into the places they slept and also a gas chamber, the visit to auschwitz and birkeneu is very somber but worth the vist, we then got took back to our hotels. Highly recommend the vist here.

great organization. both driver and guide were fantastic. Overwhelming visit, but very interesting. Everyone should do this visit
