This is a private transport service. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Beijing at your preferred time, and then take you directly to Badaling Great Wall. After your self guided Great Wall Tour, you will be transfer back to your hotel. If you wish to have a friendly private guide to show you the way, hike with you and tell the stories along the way you also can book a guide and transfer service option upon booking.

Badaling Great Wall tickets need to buy in advance on your own.

In Peak Season Badaling is very crowded, we will recommend to visit another section instead for better experience

What To Expect

Your friendly driver will come to pick you up in your hotel lobby at prearrange time.Then take you to Badaling Great Wall directly. Upon arrival, your driver can assist you to purchase the entrance ticket (at your own cost). Then, start your self-guided tour to explore this world culture heritage.Your driver waiting for you at the parking lot and pick you up at your pointed schedule.Of course, you can add-on a friendly guide service upon booking, if you need someone to take photos, hike with you and tell you histories along the way. Badaling Great Wall is close to downtown Beijing, about 43 miles (70 kilometers) away.The drive will choose stress-free way to drive ,when you arrive the Great Wall , the driver will assist you to purchase entrance ticket. After several hours your hiking on the Wall, you will be transfer back to your hotel. You will travel in either an air-conditioned sedan (for 1 to 3 people) or an air-conditioned minivan (for 4 to 9 people) or an air-conditioned minibus(10-15 people) We cannot guarantee an English-speaking driver. Due to their availability, you may have a Chinese speaking driver, but they know exactly where to pick you up and where to drop you off. Guest can use their phone to call our translator if need during the ride.

The Experience was great and our guide Wang guo wang was great Nothing was too much trouble, getting our cable car tickets etc and making everything easy for us , even when we forgot our passports he returned to the hotel for us to collect without fuss

Very pleased with nice driver. He arrived at the hotel before the scheduled time and guided us all the way to the entrance to the cable rail up to the Badaling frest walk. Pleasant drive to and from the Chinese Wall at Badaling.

Badaling great wall is absolutely exiting and impressive but you need to accept the crowds. The driving service was in time. Mr. Sun was a very friendly and mindful driver. The ride was smoothe and relaxing. All in all a very enjoyable trip.

Careful, this company claimed they picked me up, then claimed it was the wrong person, and then when the driver showed up an hour late he claimed he was late cause of traffic…so it seems the whole story about picking up the wrong person was a lie…also, they didn’t reach out to me prior to pickup, and it wasn’t until they were thirty minutes late and I messaged them through Viator that they messaged me claiming I was with the driver. The whole thing felt like a scam, and the driver tried to tell me we could just do the tour “offline” for ¥700 after I had already paid?? Was all frustrating and sketchy so I got them to refund me after all the mess and instead had my whole day thrown for a loop.

The private transfer (our driver was Zhao) was very convenient. He suggested some changes to our original plans that ended up making our experience so much better. He was very helpful with relevant information. He helped us through the logistics of getting tickets and using the cable car. He took photos for us and sent them to me. Overall a fantastic experience!
