• Stunning and seamless day-trip from Edinburgh to Ben Nevis summit and back again!

  Ross and Mikey from Intrepidus took a group of eight from a hostel in Edinburgh to the Summit of Ben Nevis and back again within a day in what was an unforgettable, stress-free, start to a stag-do weekend. We had incredible luck with the weather too! Everything ran like clockwork. The booking process was incredibly simple and requirements for the trip (kit etc) were made very clear from the outset. Logistics on the day also couldn't have gone any smoother. Our group became quite spread out on the ascent/descent in terms of pace, however Mikey and Ross were able to keep tabs on us all so that we completed the walk in good time, safely and that everyone enjoyed themselves. They were a brilliant source of knowledge and advice during the walk, managing to break it all down into less daunting steps for everybody, but at the same time weren't overbearing in guiding us. Ultimately, it felt like Intrepidus were incredibly good at reading what we were looking for as a group and delivering - diverting us to a pub at the foot of the mountain on the way back, for example, and generally made what could have been quite a hectic day-out very straightforward.   Ross and Mikey made our Ben Nevis excursion a breeze. They picked us up promptly from Edinburgh in a comfortable minibus and sped us into the Highlands, where Ross provided helpful commentaries on all the sights. There was no faffing about when we got to the mountain - which was appreciated as we were all eager to get started - and Ross set a healthy pace up the trail for the more adventurous among us while Mikey kindly stayed with the slower folk (me included). At no point did we feel hurried, unsafe, or overwhelmed, which is a testament to the team's professionalism. 10/10, would do it again in a heartbeat.

  I did two activities with Intrepidus and absolutely loved them Easy to communicate with, fun and safe We did hill walking and hiking and had tons of fun My family travels a lot and we do a lot of tours and this one is the best so far We loved it so much, we are definitely going back to Scotland for coasteering and canyoning A++++

  The whole process from booking, to walking, to fish and chips at the end was so easy! Ross and David picked us up in a clean, spacious and comfortable minibus. They were friendly and I felt my son and I were in completely in safe hands. David took us up Ben Nevis, which was amazing, and told us some very interesting facts and stories. He looked after us well and we felt completely safe at all times. It was great fun! I would 100% recommend My Adventure. I will definitely be booking again.

  Ross was my guide for the ascent/decent to the summit of Ben Nevis via the Mountain Path. Ross was absolutely outstanding. I mean that in every aspect of the entire day, as Ross will agree, was a very long one. The service by Ross; from pick up from my AirBnB in Edinburgh; the introduction from Ross; the car ride to the Visitors Centre at Ben Nevis; the safety brief before setting off; the ascent up the Mountain Path; the patience and support including some very subtle physiology in getting me to the summit; the incredible support on the decent when my legs succumbed to the riggers of the “Burn”; Ross made sure my safety and well being was paramount; making the adventure extremely and overwhelming fulfilling.   Great trip thanks to Ross. We got the views of Scotland on the way, prepared for the hike and informed of what we had in store. We experienced all weather conditions, but there was never a dull moment.

  Our guide, Ross, was great. Helpful, picked us up from our accomodation, good knowledge on landmarks on the way and Ben Nevis, went at our pace. Really relaxed day, stopped enroute for food for the hike. Had a drink at the pub after and fish and chips on the way home. A great day!

  Gordon was our guide for the day for a trek up Ben Nevis. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, collected us on time and had spare equipment if we needed it. He kept us safe the whole way whilst being great company with a good sense of humour. He made sure we had regular breaks and gave us the opportunity to buy food. He also took some great photos and sent them to us so we could remember our trip. Ross was also very helpful at organising our tour as we had to change the dates a couple of times due to weather/travel restrictions. Would definitely recommend!

  The "walk" was more of a challenge than we expected but the satisfaction of knowing we conquered Ben Nevis was well worth it. Intrepidus was awesome and if we get back to Scotland, we will definitely call him again!
