I don't consider this a "full day tour", as there is a 2 hour gap, in a location near the pickup spot, with no restaurants nearby, only a take-away coffee /pastry shop. It would have been much better to have that time (or even a shorter break) at Plaka/Monasteraki to shop and eat. Both the morning and afternoon portions seemed a bit too rushed. We only had 15 minutes at the Olympic stadium, which was also our only restroom break for the morning. When we got to the Temple of Poseidon, there was only 20 minutes until closing time (at 20 euros apiece admission charge). The tour guides (including the guide for the Acropolis) were nice, and informative. The young man that did the afternoon part of the trip was particularly knowledgeable. We enjoyed everything we saw, and the stop at the beach was refreshing.

the guides and drivers were wonderful. the guide to the acropolis talked a little fast but what trying to share lots of information. The reason i didn't give a 5 star review is because we were disappointed that the time in Plaka was not sufficient to shop & have lunch unless you wanted to get your own transportation from Plaka back to the original meeting site where you boarded a 2nd bus & had a new guide to Poseidon's temple. the trip description didn't explain that this was really 2 different tours.

This was an excellent choice for spending my last days of my cruise and it was worth every penny and highly recommend everyone to save a day to do this tour. The guides were excellent especially the Poseidon guide who made the tour excellent, entertaining, and educational, he gets 10plus.

our guide basically talked too much, not allowing guests to properly look over the site. you knew the guide lost the group when one lady finally asked "when can we see the site, and many of the people just tuned out.

I definitely recommend this tour!!! The guides were very informative and the drivers were great. You had plenty of time at each stop to take pictures and enjoy the areas. There is a lot of walking so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring something to drink.

This tour was absolutely amazing. Teddy, Michaela, and Debbie were outstanding and incredibly knowledgeable. One of the most informative tours I have ever been on. The tour was a history lesson, with comedy, recommendations and fun all in one. We would do again in a heartbeat. One thing to be aware of is the few hour break between the Athens and Cape Sounion portion of the tours. Be prepared to either pop back to your accommodations or eat lunch. Also bring a sweatshirt for the Temple of Poseidon. Beautiful, but can be windy and a bit chilly.

This is actually 2 separate tours through the same company. Instead of the expected 9 hour day, it turned out to be 12.5 hours. This should be mentioned in the description just so you are prepared. There was an almost 3 hour break in between tours. If there was a shorter time frame for lunch and a later start in the morning, it would have been better. You only have 1 hour at the Acropolis, which was very rushed, especially with the number of tourists. You do not actually go inside the olympic stadium. The changing of the guards was interesting. Get there early to get in the front row. Everything else was just a drive-by, and you can't take good pictures. We wound up walking to see them at another time. Spending 1.5 hours at the beach, with only 1 place for food/drink (unless you want a long walk), was way too long. There was a lot to see at the Temple of Posiden, but no time to see it. It would have been great to have another hour at the Temple instead of at the beach. Our 2nd guide. I believe her name was Faith, was wonderful. Also, there is no food or drinks on the bus. If you buy a coffee just before tour, you will have to throw it away. Just a mention of this in the tour description would have solved this problem.

We loved our tour guides Katerina on the city tour, Konstatina at the Acropolis and Fay on the temple of Poseidon tour. The vehicles were comfortable. We were on such a tight schedule to get everywhere that we were rushed off from one place to another. We saw a lot, but it seemed like a taste of Athens…highlights it was! We were glad to enjoy this beautiful city. Sunset was anti-climatic! And if you go on that one make sure you have towel and suit to swim in the sea. Many didn’t know to bring those!
