If you travel to Bogotá, this is the best option to get to know, learn and enjoy its beauty and its history.

This tour, accompanied by our expert guides, begins in an emblematic place: Monserrate hill. You will climb to more than 3100 m high and you will see the beautiful Basilica of Monserrate and the best panoramic image of the city.

You will then go to the Gold Museum, you will learn about a collection of gold pieces and their history in Colombia and the relationship with the Muisca culture that also give rise to the legend of El Dorado.

This trip is made in the Candelaria neighborhood, you will arrive at two unmissable places, the Botero Museum, named in honor of the renowned Colombian painter Fernando Botero; and the Plaza de Bolívar, where the Palace of Justice, the presidential palace, the mayor's office, the Primada Cathedral, and more are located!

Finally, you will walk to the area called Chorro de Quevedo to learn about different traditions that mix between the new generations and the past.

At more than 3000 m above sea level, there is the clearest and most beautiful view of Bogotá and the Monserrate Basilica. The ascent and descent is done by cable car or funicular.

This is a well thought out trip plan which leads to a great day in Bogota. However, Yang really made the trip. He was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. He is kind, passionate about Columbia, and will go out of his way to make it a great trip. I’m pretty sure we could have just walked around the block and Yang would have made it memorable.
