We invite you on a journey that transcends tourism to connect with our origins. Experience an authentic adventure that blends archaeology, colonial legends, and the passion of cycling. This is not just a visit; it's a journey through the history of the Muisca, the ancient guardians of "White Gold (salt)," whose wisdom still whispers among the mountain's tunnels. From modern Bogotá, we chart a route to the source: we honor the resilience of our cyclists, like Egan Bernal, with coffee and snacks in hand, and descend 180 meters underground to reveal the mysticism of the Salt Cathedral. It's not just about religion; it's a journey through an engineering marvel where faith and rock merge into a Colombian wonder.
Unlike traditional tours, we take you on a journey to immerse yourself in history. The journey culminates in the colonial heart of Zipaquirá, strolling through its Main Square and celebrating the diversity of our countryside with regional cuisine paired with Andean music.

Juanfe and Will did everything right! Juanfe explains incredibly good in Spanish and English and he gave us always the best data from the place and directions in order to enjoy the Zipaquira tour. The place were we ate was really good (they even serve big plates that can be shared to more than one people) and the coffee they take us was great.

We booked the shared group tour to Zipaquira last-minute around 7 PM and promptly received our confirmation for the pick-up the very next day. The contact through Whatsapp was clear and went very well. The tour itself started at 9 AM and ended around 4:30 PM. We went to the city center of Zipaquira after which our group (which existed of only 6 for the day) visited the Salt Cathedral. For personal reasons we decided to skip the second part and head back into the town center for our own walk. Our guide, Estéban, was very understanding and helped us plan our short walk away from the group. Other than that, he gave us interesting information during the 1,5 hour bus ride and kept us entertained. For those wondering about logistics: the bus offered free WiFi, lunch is not included (but can either be ordered at the restaurant stopped or somewhere else if you prefer). All in all, the tour definitely kept up with our expectations and we ended the day happy to have booked it. If you have more time in Bogotá, it's definitely possible to use public transport to reach Zipaquirá, but the comfort, safety and logistical reassurance of this group tour was well worth the money for us.

The Salt Cathedral completely beat my expectations by massive scale and the artistic details carved directly into the salt mines which is something you must witness in person. The trip logistics were seamless, largely thanks to our incredible guide, Esteban. He did a fantastic job managing the group and keeping everyone happy. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Bogotá!

From the pick up to the start of the experience it was great. Esteban our guide cleared all our doubts, was patient and friendly at all times. It really is something I recommend doing, it is a unique and worthwhile experience. The option of the restaurant where they have reservation seems super, the food is typical and they are very friendly. The detail of the flags on the table I found very cute!
