This morning I attended a Japanese calligraphy course with my husband. I thoroughly enjoyed the course, Ryosei and his team were very attentive and encouraging- maybe this has inspired me to practice more calligraphy. Thank you.

A delightful experience learning to paint kanji characters. Ryosei is a very patient teacher with help his lovely friends. We had plenty of practice before painting our chosen word on a fan. A real insight into Japanese culture and language.

An easy to understand, super fun and unique experience! Ryosei sensei was very kind and helped us understand how to write Japanese characters and the meaning behind them. Totally recommend this experience! I’d never tried Japanese calligraphy before but it was great and easy to understand! Thank you!

I had a calligraphy experience in Hiroshima, so I participated! They taught me how to write vertically, horizontally, harai, springs, etc. in an easy to understand way, and I was able to write a large number of characters in a short time! The atmosphere of the trial class was good and I was able to spend time happily! At the end, I had time to choose my favorite characters from several models and write them down, but since I was told that my child was born, I was able to write my child's name on the spot and use that as a model to write something like a name on colored paper! I was very happy to see your suggestion, even though it was so sudden!

It was such a wonderful experience! The teacher was polite, He explained the origin of Hiragana in turn, and I really enjoyed it. Even I, a beginner, was able to get the hang of it quickly because they could move the brush together behind me. The finished product can be written on colored paper and taken home, so I'll hang it at home! It's the most beautiful letter I've ever written and I'm very happy with it! I am also happy that the colored paper has the stamp of a calligrapher teacher.

I was not so sure and anxious, but I had a lot of fun! I thought it would be nice to not only end with the experience, but also to be able to take the artwork home as a souvenir of the trip 😌
