What makes this experience unique is that we are about to enjoy it not in a typical " touristic" way, but the way greeks do it.

SWIMMING AND GREEK LUNCH : as a local i know the best spots for food and swimming ( only few know): after the coffee break we will enjoy swimming at one of the best beaches in athens and then taste the delicious greek cuisine( fresh seafood or " souvlaki) at the best local tavernas.i was in the restaurant bussiness for years so i know the best tavernas in town.

SOUNION TEMPLE OF THE POSEIDON:

the second part of the experience, Temple of poseidon at Sounio, will amaze us for two reasons: firstly because of its architectural and historical uniqueness and secondly because it is located on an edge cliff , where you can see the aegean sea in front of you.The view of the aegean will become much more impressive during the sunset.ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE..i am looking forward to showing the beauties of greece.

Fotis is a phenomenal guide. This is the best viator trip we have taken. He was so knowledgeable about Greece (Hellas) and the Hellenic culture. We loved every moment! We experienced local places (for Bougatsa and lunch) and finally had some of the experiences we were searching for on our trip. The information about sounio and the Temple of Poseidon made the experience even better. You would be lucky to have Fotis as your guide!

It was very local and authentic, the tour guide will take you to beautiful spots only locals know and away from touristy places. He will also share stories about the history of Greece, Greek Mythology, and life in Greece, which was extremely entertaining and informative. He was also very friendly and positive. The atmosphere of the tour was very nice even though the other guests were initially strangers. The tour also introduced us to very nice Greek snacks and drinks that we didn't know existed. We had an issue with Labor Day and the tour was easily rearranged and extremely flexible, so I recommend telling the guide if you have any preference regarding date and time. In general, it was worth booking the tour if you want to experience authentic local Greek life and have an overview of Greek people. It made us fall in love with Greece even more and we'll definitely visit this country again, and hopefully will have a chance to book with this tour guide again!!

This is a great tour to see the Athenian Riviera. Fortis the tour guild was extremely knowledgeable on the history of Greece. He was so very kind and accommodating. The group was hungry after the temple visit so he took us to a wonderful restaurant where we could have dinner and it was very resonable. I made many friend on this tour including Fortis. I highly recommend it.

it was so great joining Fotis’ trip! I would say Sounio Temple of Poseidon trip exceeds my expectations in terms of itinerary arrangements, knowledge sharing and storytelling. Fotis deserves a 5+ .
