I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate making experience. The chocolates I designed were delicious. One critique - please provide recipes or recommendations on how we could recreate these chocolates at home in our own kitchens.

This is more of a candy shop with a hands-on workshop than a traditional museum, but it was still a fun experience. We made our own chocolate bars and hot chocolate, which children in particular would enjoy. The instructor was knowledgeable and very patient, making the activity easy to follow. The chocolate itself was good, though not especially memorable. There was space to store personal items during the activity, which made the experience more comfortable. I chose not to visit the museum portion afterward, as it appeared fairly limited. Having previously visited the Chocolate Museum in Antwerp, this experience felt more modest by comparison. Located a few train stops outside the city center, it may not be ideal if you’re short on time. Overall, it’s a pleasant activity for families with younger children, but adults may prefer to spend their time seeing Vienna’s many other highlights.

It was a fun experience with the family. However there were two downfalls to this tour. Firstly, we felt the size of the group was too big for the workshop space available. Secondly, your limited to two flavours of chocolate even though your given the opportunity to make three blocks
