We went on the tour with our guide Ben, who was telling the story about South Bridge so vividly it was like being there at the time. The Greyfriars kirkyard was also a great experience.

Fiona is a great guide. It's so scary and exited experience. she brought me to the real places. I was so scared but I recommend this tour.

My second time doing the double dead tour with the city of the dead tours and the first time for the friends I was travelling with. I definitely think on these sorts of tours, your guide truly has to believe in the stories they’re telling you, and our guide really did. She was passionate, interesting, and truly made the whole experience for us. She had us envisioning history, hanging on to her every word and I’d love to know so many more of her stories. I’d really recommend this tour! (I cannot remember our tour guides name, however if you gave the 7pm tour on 01/11 - thank you!)

this is great value trip, educational and engaging in a way which does not treat us as idiots. "believe what you want - but these things happened...". Ben was an excellent guide who combined deep rigour in his research and historical knowledge, with humour and a caring need to put the spooks up us occasionally, whilst respecting those victim to the wrong end of social divides, thank you, mike and donna

Would highly recommend this tour it was amazing. Sarah our guide was absolutely fantastic, she was so good at telling the stories & she was a wealth of knowledge. Myself & my friend took our 2 boys they're both 14, they loved it.

A great tour that shows some of the lesser seen parts of Edinburgh and the stories associated with them. Our Tour guide, Sarah, was phenomenal. Great energy and made the tour into an outstanding experience.

We went on Halloween night and had an amazing time! So amazing to see parts of the city you wouldn’t otherwise have access to. But what really made it was our tour guide Ryan. His knowledge, humour and theatricality made it one of my favourite Halloween’s ever! Will recommend this to any and all friends who are visiting Edinburgh!

We spend our halloween evening with Ben with the double tour. It was honestly one of the highlights of our stay in Scotland. It was creepy but it also felt realistic. Not the theatrical stuff of other tours but really down to earth. Ben, our guide, did an amazing job telling about the history of the places visited. I would recommend this tour to everyone who loves creepy spooky stories and brutal history!
