Explore more of Pompeii than you would on any other guided tour, with a trained archaeologist to provide stories and context that will help you make the most of your visit. Upon meeting up with your guide and small group, you’ll skip the long lines to enter the ruins. Hear fascinating stories about life in the Roman Republic and see how ordinary people lived nearly 2,000 years ago. See the remains of a bakery where the food is still almost intact, the Temple of Apollo and the Roman Forum, an ancient supermarket, a cemetery, and even a brothel (if age appropriate). Marvel at the heart-wrenching plaster casts of those caught in the eruption at the exact moment of their death. You’ll also explore the House of the Vettii, a fascinating private home that recently reopened to the public following restoration. End with a stroll along the old city walls for panoramic views.

Francesca was an excellent tour guide, we learnt so much on this tour. Make sure you bring water as there are no stops, only pauses to listen and learn about the ruins, you can fill up your bottle on route. Meet at the gates/entrance. We nearly missed the tour as the meeting place was taking me opposite the street so take note of this.

Absolutely incredible!!! My husband and I booked this tour on our honeymoon and it was the tour we were looking forward to the most. It exceeded our expectations!! The detail and depth that Ilaria went into was amazing. We feel like we lucked out with her being an Archeologist who had previously worked at the site. Her detail and knowledge was awesome. The site is preserved so beautifully and the history is unbelievable. Strongly recommend!

Our trip to Pompeii was amazing! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Pompeii and the archeological history explaining the way people lived and how artifacts were uncovered and restored. She made it very interesting and fun. She also did a great job making sure everyone was comfortable and hydrated by selecting shade to tell stories and pointing out where fountains were available since it was such a warm day. I highly recommend this tour!
