In my cooking class, you will prepare a traditional Tuscan menu. The cooking class will be held in my restaurant kitchen, which is immersed in the Tuscan town and a splendid view of Tirreno sea. During this rustic cooking lesson, you will go through a brief history of Tuscan and Italian cuisine to experience traditional Tuscan cuisine first-hand in a few hours. The lessons are all “hands-on” so expect to work, play and taste together! After the class, seat yourself to a table to enjoy the lunch or dinner you’ve just made. This is a very fun activity that accommodates from family groups to corporate team-building activities. The total experience lasts about 3 hours. Cooking Class including: - Apron - Recipes book - Tasting of the food including room service - Wine not included that you can choose separately in our wine list With your course fee, you will receive complete hands-on training under the guide of Chef Barbara and you are involved in every aspect of preparing a typical Tuscan meal. In short, a great job and great fun!

What a fabulous experience cooking with Chef Barbara. From the moment we.entered her beautiful restaurant in the mountain town of Manciano to our last bite of Tiramisu, we were laughing and learning and eating and enjoying ourselves! We cooked the following: 1. Foccacio and cheese tray 2. Gnocchi with tomato sauce 3. Spinach and ricotta cheese ravioli 4. Tagliatelle with tomato sauce 5. Pappardella with mushrooms 6. Tiramisu All so delicious - best Italian food we.have ever eaten! Barbara makes it all fun!! Highly recommend this for family, girls day, etc.

Barbara is a fabulous instructor! She shares stories, a sense of humor and cooking tips and encourages you to roll up your sleeves and try her cooking techniques yourself! A cooking class with Barbara feels like you just stepped into her home kitchen full of wonderful Italian hospitality!

Our family has traveled all over the world and we love to take cooking classes in each area to really experience the local culture and cuisine. Our time with Chef Barbara was truly amazing and one of our fondest memories of Italy. We were fortunate to have only a short walk to her beautiful Michelin rated restaurant named La Filanda in Manciano. The design and architecture are stunning but I shall describe that more in a separate review of our subsequent dinner a couple of nights later. We were greeted with smiles and such a welcome atmosphere. We started promptly in the morning and we all worked diligently. Barbara and her assistant were fantastic at educating us and assisting us at every opportunity. We all really enjoyed the entire cooking experience but that was easily surpassed by the culinary arts that our taste buds were able to experience. The dining was excellent and we were all amazed at the flavors of Italy we enjoyed so much. I highly recommend this class while in this area of Italy and everyone in our group enthusiastically agrees.
