We had a fabulous boat trip. Rupert and Murphy were so informative. They parked the boat on a beach and we walked over to the ocean. Murphy told us about the plants the indigenous people used. It was a great trip.

Nice and relaxing tour! Nice view of Murray mouth and heading to the non-commercial beautiful beach which not many people can visit in! Afternoon tea at the boat was nice too :)

We have always loved the Coorong and been fascinated by the Indigenous people and their traditional way of life. Our tour guide Joel, was extremely knowledgeable, highlighting native & local plants and food sources, and it was a wonderful experience.

We had booked this using our South Australia state voucher and I was keen to see more of the Coorong as we have only seen a small portion of it.once arriving at the location point for our tour I was impressed with the look of the boat nice big large windows for viewing.we did our Covid check in and notice how clean and spacious and we was introduced to Rupert our driver ( host ) . We started our trip and he gave us lots of knowledge about the Coorong and the surrounding areas and then we came to the conservation park and was nice to see all the indigenous plants and our cupa with delicious wattle seed Anzac biscuits yummm. A great tour would highly recommend the tour.

Fantastic day out in a small group. Our guides Lachie and Jack were amazing; engaging, knowledgeable, funny!! We have done a similar cruise but this one was the best day out. Food was amazing, included cockles, native bush food. Very healthy lunch focussing on our local native produce. We would highly recommend this trip and thank you to Lachie and Jack for a very entertaining day out 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻

This was the second time that I took international visitors on this cruise. It is fantastic. Rupert is a very knowledgeable guide/captain and it is clear he loves sharing this unique area with his clients. Because it is a small craft (about 16), the whole experience is very personal. Highly recommended!

What an excellent morning to be cruising the Coorong. Perfect weather, a crisp spring morning, and the sun was making the water on the lakes glisten. An abundance of water bird life can be seen on the Coorong / Murray River wetlands. We saw pelicans , cormorants, swans, ducks, emus feeding and sunning themselves .... plenty of migratory birds find their way here. Seals were also seen frolicking near the lock. The Coorong / lower Murray also home to the traditional owners the Ngarrindjeri people, and their culture was respectfully told to us by our captain/host. We stopped for an easy short guided walk across the dune which saw us emerging on the side of the spectacular great southern ocean. Back on the cruise for some morning tea. Learnt so much on this cruise. This was the 2.5 hour Coorong highlights cruise. Our captain was Lachie , and he did an excellent job as guide and captaining the cruise. Well worth doing this cruise for a greater appreciation of the area. Loved it.

We had a wonderful day on our river cruise, my husband and I, sister and her husband and 85 year old mother and her 83 year old sister. Mat our tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about everything Coorong, water birds, history, Aboriginal culture and custom, and particularly the maritime history of the area. Being a small boat we were able to go through all of the locks to access the various Coorong and Murray river highlights. Morning tea and lunch was exceptional, showcasing local foods enhanced with traditional bush tucker ingredients ie wattle seed Anzac biscuits. Mat was more than happy to stop for photo ops. I would thoroughly recommend Cruise the Coorong for all ages, fabulous day out!

We had the most fantastic day circumnavigating Hindmarsh Island starting from Goolwa wharf on the Cruise The Coorong boat. Michael was an excellent Captain and full of interesting stories. The Aboriginal midden area on the Coorong - with its bush tucker and fresh water (Michael dug down with his hands and found crystal clear drinking water!) - was a particularly wonderful highlight. This tour is tremendous value and the whole day trip was well structured and an absolute delight! A must do experience while in Goolwa.
