Corinth Canal
Corinth Canal, one of the most important projects and 19th century engineering masterpieces, playing a catalytic role for the Mediterranean trade. The Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island.

Alex was a great host and driver. He gave us little tidbits of history and knowledge along the way, as well as being extremely professional and personable. Would highly recommend this group of drivers (mostly just Alex) to friends and family.

The whole trip was fabulous. We especially loved ancient Corinth to actually see where St. Paul preached was amazing. The museum at Corinth was full of interesting artefacts. Driver Alex was very considerate and although not a guide he provided lots of insight and was very considerate of our individual circumstances. Would highly recommend driver Alex.
