1.00You will be given a headset and audio device for the walk to the gondola and this is the only time anyone is speaking the language you requested. Once on the gondola the gondolier only speaks to the other gondoliers and says nothing to you. This trip is not on the grand canal it simply does a U-turn in the grand canal to head back to drop you off.

2.00The initial tour guide gave us great commentary about the history of Venice and the Gondolas. She told us that we would get more when the gondolier got to the grand canal. However our gondolier was not friendly. He only held conversations with the gondoliers near us. When we got to the grand canal, which we were only on for three minutes, There was no commentary.

4.00No frills and quick gondola ride. Meets the expectations. The VR before the ride was nice. Gondola itself was mid. The gondolier could be a bit warmer but he did his job. Otherwise no issues.
