Our guide Stephanie was great! She had a very calm demeanor and navigated the massive crowds with ease. It was extra special having an American guide who has lived in Florence most of her life.

This is a 2+ hours on-foot tour of the key sights of the centre of the city with fast track entry into the Accademia Gallery to see David. And all with a guide who provides information on the sights and other interesting facts about Florence via audio equipment. The smallish group size was excellent (everyone kept up!) as was our very knowledgeable and friendly guide, Patricia, who is from Florence and speaks excellent English. We did the tour after having already spent 2 days in Florence, so we'd seen most of the sights and this was a great way to learn more. The queues to enter the Accademia looked horrendous, but we got in as the tour group in less than 10 minutes which was fantastic. After providing some commentary in the Gallery, you are then left to wander round unescorted and can leave when you're ready. We were very satisfied with this experience on the whole; my 4 star rating is based on the fact that there is only time on this tour to see the most important sights of the city. A longer tour would presumably take in more of the city, e.g. crossing to the other side of the river.
