  • Great informative tour!

The tour was great. It was well organized, including the plan to get in early before crowds. It guides we’re very knowledgeable and we’re able to show us a lot in a few hours. The tour also goes to the volcano with ample time to walk and explore god you wish

  • Unacceptable and unprofessional behavior

The first part of the Tour was in Pompeii and it was very good and we have no complaints. Before we got there they told us if we want to visit a restaurant before going to Vesuvius and of course we said yes since the tour was 8 whole hours. However, shortly before we left for Vesuvius, around 2 pm, we were told that because it was very windy yesterday, trees had fallen and the road was closed, so we would not be able to go on our visit. I can't imagine that an Agency with hundreds of daily traffic, at such an important monument, was informed at 2 pm that the road was closed since yesterday! If it was proper professionals, they would have informed us in the morning (if we accept that the road was closed, because I say again that we all saw buses going up) and we would decide whether or not we want to continue. And not to take us to eat and then announce it to us! Unacceptable behavior Unacceptable!

It was a short time, and we couldn’t enjoy all the places during our visit. The transportation is easy, though.

We had a great day even though the weather wasn’t on our side when we walked up Mt Vesuvius. Our guide was lovely and knowledgeable. Pompeii is just amazing.

Friendly and knowledgeable guides, learned a lot about Pompeii and the region. Went early enough for a serene experience with very few people. Opted for lunch with a fantastic view on the way to the top of Vesuvio, but it was closed for safety (high winds!) when we got there. Our guide and driver were flexible and allowed some stops on the drive down for some photos. Would recommend. Comfortable walking shoes a must! Very uneven in Pompeii.
